Situated in Sugar Hill, this charming house for $356 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Relax in and enjoy our well-equipped home in a very peaceful setting in the heart of the White Mountains. Our four-bedroom home is located on a tranquil “scenic” road in the prime Sugar Hill location where one can find beautiful sweeping views of the Lafayette, Cannon and the whole Kinsman Range and much of the Presidentials. The interior includes recently installed hard wood flooring throughout the house, a large living room/ dining area with a fieldstone fireplace, a completely renovated well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an island and a sitting area, a lovely screened in porch for dining and lounging and a master bedroom with private recently renovated bath. There is also a finished lower level space with a comfortable double futon bed which serves as a great place for additional guests and a place for children to hang out. There is cable TV and wireless internet for your enjoyment. The contemporary design gives an airy and open feel. Most of the many windows face south and have tree top views of Cannon or/and Lafayette Mountain. The property has beautiful landscaped gardens, a large yard with apples trees and a field, a fire pit and a private patio area and is located just five minutes from the town of Franconia and I-93, ten minutes from the ski slopes of Cannon Mountain and about twenty-five from Loon and Brettan Woods. Property has a separate two car garage with an apartment over the garage, which on occasion the owners stay in while the house is rented. If this is an issue, please inquire further.

This property was just wonderful. We really appreciated the yard space and we used the campfire which had kindling and firewood all ready to use. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this to others.

Good size for our group of 9. Nice location in Sugar Hill. Basement bedroom is limited but useable. Could have been cleaner. Overall, we had a good stay.

We had an amazing time at Wendy's property. The location was so close to Polly's and the mountain (our 2 main reasons to be up there). There were a ton of beds, linens, etc which was awesome. The house is definitely well loved and lived in. The fireplace was perfect - we brought our own wood and starters. Internet was great and strong. We got a TON of snow half way through the week, so the kids and dogs LOVED the yard. Thank you for having us.

I rented this for a family getaway Christmas present so we could go visit the ice castles, and even though they were not open during our stay, Wendy was gracious enough to move our stay back a few weeks from our first reservation. We were disappointed we could not see the ice castles, but the kids still had a blast sledding on the small hill outback and my family enjoyed the large space we were all able to gather in and just hang out for a couple of days.

Great location to explore hiking trails, go shopping or just relax. We rented to have access to the Highland Games and it was the perfect spot. I am now a big fan of Sugar Hill. The property itself was beautiful and provided us with all the comforts of being home. I would highly recommend this rental.

We had a wonderful stay here! A group of a few friends and I gathered for a relaxing bachelorette party. We did some hiking and swimming in nearby swimming holes, and some sightseeing around the white mountains. This was a beautiful area to stay in, and the house was just as described. It was very roomy and had everything we needed, with plenty of space. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We rented this place to have a little more space to host Thanksgiving for 12. The layout of the house gave everyone enough space to spread out. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and the kids (and dog) had a blast running around in the yard. We don't ski, but I could see this place being an awesome rental for a group ski weekend at Cannon or Loon. Also super close to a lot of great hiking trails. Highly reccomended!!

This beautifully appointed home is nestled in one of the quaintest little towns in New England. From the minute you roll onto the property it beams with pride of ownership. The open lay out of the first floor is great for gathering and the yard is the perfect space for kids to play and watch the stars. The basketball hoop in the driveway was a bonus. The home is convenient to the highway and the local Fraconia Market just off the exit is delightful and stocked with everything you need for your stay. Sleeping in the heat of August was a little tough even with fans, but the area is so inspiring, we couldn’t wait to get up and get exploring!

We had a GREAT stay at the Sugar Hill property. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in. The main decision to be made each evening was where to eat -- the large dining table with the big picture windows, the screened-porch, the patio, around the fire pit or around the kitchen island! We made a daily trip to the Franconia Market and Deli who mostly had everything we needed. We did puzzles, watched movies (unfortunately, the weather wasn't great for our trip) and when we wanted to go out for something to do, there were lots of options. The house is located conveniently close to rt 93, but far enough off the beaten path to find some real peace and quiet.
