About this house rental
Situated in Camaiore, this attractive house for $196 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Pretty detached stone house on two levels in the countryside of the ancient village of Camaiore (LU). On the ground floor there is a spacious eat-in kitchen equipped with all comforts (refrigerator, freezer, electric oven, microwave oven, pod coffee machine), a comfortable dining room, a bright living room with fireplace and two sofas (one one is a double sofa bed), smart TV, a cozy corner for reading and relaxation. On the mezzanine floor there is a large bathroom with shower, recently renovated. On the first floor there is a lovely triple bedroom and a large double bedroom (which can easily accommodate a cot for babies, provided for free). The whole house is furnished in a classic Tuscan style and complete with linen / towels (at an additional cost of € 10.00 per person). A free wifi line is active throughout the property. The large garden is mainly grassy, but there are two tiled areas where you can eat: - a small porch adjacent to the kitchen, where there is a wood oven and a small table that can accommodate up to 6 people; - a large barbecue area, with a large table that can accommodate up to 10-12 people. In front of the porch there is a lovely and shaded portion of the garden perfect for a little relaxation and furnished with sun loungers. In the large portion of the garden overlooking the mountains there is a large swimming pool measuring 6.00x4.00 m, approximately 1.50m deep. The house is equipped with a large private parking, partially covered and as a whole it is secluded and very quiet, particularly suitable for families, even with small children. To be added to the price of the stay and to be paid in cash upon arrival: - mandatory final cleaning (at a price of € 100.00); - linen / towels (at the price of € 10.00 per person). Optional services: - baby bed on request (free); - baby high chair on request (free); - cleaning service on request during the stay (€12.00 per hour); - home chef/cooking lessons (price to be established directly with the chef). Check-out is usually between 9:00 and 9:30 - the cleaning lady will come to check the house and collect the keys. If guests wish to leave earlier, it is sufficient to communicate the preferred time in advance. Check-out after 9:30 is only possible if there is no direct change of guests on the same day (unfortunately this rarely happens during the rental season). However we advise all guests to ask us for confirmation.

We stayed at the house this summer for 10 days and ended up wishing we had booked at least two weeks. The house is lovely and features a lot of privacy. The pool is great and the amenities of the house as advertised. Francesca was great with her advice and about things to do and 0laces to eat and always available for questions. Definately looking forward to come back.

We've had a great week staying in the house. Lovely refreshing pool, terras, view, BBQ.. Plenty to visit nearby: the charming towncentre of Camaiore, the beach of Viareggio. A bit further, but easy reachable: Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa, La Spezia, Livorno, Riomaggiore...
And Firenze of course!
During the week of our stay, we were unlucky to deal with a leaking poolfilter. It couldn't be fixed during our stay. The filter worked ok, but we've had to fill by the pool twice ourselves when the waterlevel was under the skimmerinlets. Minor issue: absence of mosquito windows.

Amazing 4 nights spent in a typical villetta away from the hectic areas of Tuscany, yet close to all amenities. Venue well equipped including outdoor area with BBQ for more tranquillity between friends. All was great, but if I have to comment on something, the place may need a slight uplift, perhaps a larger TV (28 inch is passee) and a stronger wifi connection as phones struggle to connect to 5G in that area.

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit in der Unterkunft. Sehr idyllisch, ruhig und Natur pur. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation war super und unkompliziert. Gerne wieder!

Charmantes Haus in idyllischer Lage
Wir hatten 11 wunderbare Tage in dem toskanischen Haus in den Bergen von Camaiore. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Im Vorfeld bekamen wir Infos zum Check-in, den wir selbst durchführen konnten sowie eine äußerst hilfreiche Liste mit Ausflugstipps und Restaurantempfehlungen. Die steile Anfahrt zum Grundstück erfordert etwas Übung, ist aber machbar.
Ein Highlight ist der tolle Pool, den wir aufgrund der Außentemperaturen (Ende April/Anfang Mai) leider nicht genutzt haben. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst.
Wer toskanische Idylle sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Man ist zwar sehr abgelegen, aber wer die die Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Nachbarn sind allerdings etwas suspekt.
Etwas übertrieben ist die Beschreibung mit z.B. geräumiger Wohnküche (tatsächl. kleine Küche) und Blick auf die Berge (tatsächlich sieht man die leider überhaupt nicht). Es fehlt auch ein schöne überdachter Freisitz, in dem man entspannt essen kann. Der Tisch vor der Küche ist hierzu nicht geeignet. Insgesamt waren wir schon zufrieden, finden den Preis allerdings viel zu hoch.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Camaiore sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt abseits, sehr idyllisch und hat einen wunderschönen Garten. Der Pool ist super zum Planschen. Lediglich die Schnaken im August nerven etwas. Ansonsten nette Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin.

Schönes Haus
Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hat uns gut gefallen.
Nicht so schön fanden wir, dass es keine gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten gab und der Pool bereits einige Tage vor Abreise milchig wurde und niemand danach geschaut hat. Außerdem erwarteten uns bei Ankunft die Flaschenberge des Vormieters, die auf Grund der Überfüllung die gesamte Zeit nicht geleert wurden.

La casa é perfetta, ma ci vorrebbe qualche rimedio per zanzare e formiche. Per il resto cosa dire puro relax, dispone di tutti i comfort. La proprietaria molto disponibile ad accontentare tutte le nostre richieste, grazie ed a presto.

Casa nel verde
La casa di Francesca è l’ideale per una vacanza all’insegna del relax, con un bel giardino tenuto molto bene, piscina e barbecue. Abbiamo trovato tutto in ordine e Francesca è stata pronta nel risolvere un piccolo problema con l’acqua calda al nostro arrivo, risolto in meno di un’ora. Posizione buona (serve un’auto), negozi e servizi a 5 minuti e tanti posti da visitare nella zona. Casa perfetta per coppie/famiglie!

Beautiful, spacious house
We had a wonderful time in Camaiore. The house is very nice and matches the description exactly. But a hint can be useful: Because of its idyllic location next to a stream, we had an extraordinary amount of mosquitoes. Therefore we had to use mosquito repellent already in the afternoon. Of course, this was difficult in the pool, but otherwise it was no problem. But maybe the mosquito plague was also due to the fact that it had rained extensively at our arrival.
The support by our host Francesca was excellent. She was always available at short notice and had a quick solution on hand when needed.

We spent two weeks in August in this lovely house. The pool was great for our kids. The house is spacious, the bathroom new with a great shower and the kitchen is very well-equipped. We enjoyed the barbecue and the pizza oven. The host Francesca gave us great tips for things to do and see.

Schönes, geräumiges Haus mit tollem Garten und Pool
Das Haus ist sehr schön, sauber und geräumig. Die Ausstattung für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war super unkompliziert (in Englisch), es gibt sehr gute Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen, Restaurants etc.
Der Garten ist sehr ruhig und traumhaft grün und gepflegt, ebenso der Pool. ABER: am Grundstück verläuft ein kleiner Wasserlauf, was die ohnehin große Mückenpopulation immens vervielfacht. Man konnte sich leider trotz Mückenschutz nicht draußen aufhalten. Auch gibt es keine Insektengitter an den Fenstern.
Der Nachbar im einzigen Haus unmittelbar nebenan, hat zeitweilig die Nacht zum Tag gemacht. Aber gut...
Der freie Strand in Viareggio ist toll, man braucht kein Bagno.
Insgesamt war es ein schöner Urlaub mit kleinen Abstrichen.

Schön eingerichtet
Wirklich gemütliches und schön eingerichtetes Haus. Das Wohnzimmer gefiel uns besonders. Leider konnte man abends nicht draußen sitzen und musste sich auch tagsüber vor den Mücken schützen. Zudem hatten wir etwas zuviel Besuch von Gärtnern und Handwerkern. Abgesehen davon sehr empfehlenswert.

Grossartig
Alles verlief unkompliziert und Grossaftig. Bei Fragen oder Mängeln war Francesca immer sofort erreichbar und sehr bemüht das Problem zu lösen. Die Umgebung ist fantastisch und nach einem Strandtag bestens geeignet um sich etwas ins Grüne zurück zu ziehen.

We especially enjoyed the pizza oven and the barbecue on several occassions. In the area were some really nice restaurant and Francesca has a lot of good recommendations. We would definitly advise other friends to spend their holidays there.

The location is excellent for visiting all the local sights, beaches and markets as well as being only a short drive to the nearby towns of Lucca and Pisa. Florence is an easy day trip. The beach is 20 minutes. You do need a car.
We liked very much the quiet rural location of the house surrounded by fields and a few local houses, you feel part of the Italian country side and the wildlife is excellent.
The facilities of the house are excellent, good bedrooms and living space inside and kitchen with a proper oven and fridge. Outside we enjoyed the pool every day. We used the BBQ area and the wood fired pizza oven to make delicious food.
There are so many good restaurants recommended by Francesca that we did not have enough meal times to fit them all in.

Wonderful place
We spent two weeks in this wonderful toscan house in Camaiore. Everything was perfect : the house, the pool, the surroundings. I would strongly recommend this house for any Toscana lovers and even for families who just want to chill and bath either in the pool or by the nearby seaside.
