The location is excellent, situated right above the bar and restaurant district. Private parking is available right outside the door. The apartment is clean. The air conditioning works. The walk to the apartment is steep but romantic. Kitchen well equipped.
Unfortunately, there were a few issues that spoiled our stay, so we certainly wouldn't book this apartment again.
The bathroom lacks a functioning exhaust fan, making it quite inconvenient and not very relaxing to use.
For a seven-day stay with four people, there was exactly one (!) roll of toilet paper, one trash bag, one dishwasher tablet, and one laundry pod. I find this very impractical and not particularly hospitable. Although two additional rolls of toilet paper were generously provided upon request, it was apparent that the landlady was not at all pleased about it. It is hard to understand the financial benefit of skimping on these small things and alienating guests. But now I understand, why the apartment was still available to book for the Cannes Boat Show. There is always a reason.
Communication only in French.
The balcony was really only suitable for hanging up wet towels (which are not replaced), as the street noise and dust made it unpleasant; you couldn't open the windows at night due to the noise. The beds are rather soft, though that is a matter of personal preference.

I could have given a 5 or less as well. I tried to be reasonable with the mark, as the location is good and the apartment (without the bath) is ok.
Not doing the dishes or removing the trash is very normal on booking.com. We washed the dishes and collected the trash in the bin and folded the towels to prevent misunderstandings. The host should check the booking conditions at the time we booked, which did not imply anything about cleaning. If the hosts wants guests to do their work, they should note this on their terms and conditions and use another platform for marketing. All together a very unpleasant experience and as our other reviews show, other hosts clearly understand the task.

Hallo! Wir sprechen Deutsch, Russisch und ein wenig Google-Englisch. Wir sind eine kleine Familie mit zwei Kindern, einem Mädchen und einem Jungen, sowie zwei Erwachsenen, ebenfalls einer Frau und einem Mann )))
Die Gastgeber haben uns die Schlüssel übergeben und standen uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Alles war wirklich ausgezeichnet.
Unsere Kinder wollten gar nicht nach Hause fahren, und wir ebenso wenig. Die Stadt und das Stadtzentrum sind in 60 bis 180 Sekunden zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist atemberaubend - sehr schön und beeindruckend.
Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber, komfortabel und familienfreundlich. Wenn alles weiterhin gut läuft, werden wir die Wohnung bei diesen Gastgebern erneut mieten.

Bonjour ! Nous parlons allemand, russe et un peu d'anglais grâce à Google. Nous sommes une petite famille composée de deux enfants, une fille et un garçon, ainsi que de deux adultes, une femme et un homme )))
Les hôtes nous ont remis les clés et ont été disponibles pour nous aider à tout moment. Tout était vraiment parfait.
Nos enfants ne voulaient plus rentrer chez nous, et nous non plus. La ville et le centre-ville se trouvent à 60 à 180 secondes à pied. La vue depuis le balcon est à couper le souffle : très belle et impressionnante.
L'appartement est propre, confortable et adapté aux familles. Si tout continue aussi bien, nous louerons à nouveau chez ces hôtes.

Absolutely loved our stay at Lou Suquetan! 🌟 The apartment was fresh, beautifully furnished, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable visit. The highlight was the spacious sea view terrace—perfect for morning coffees or winding down after a day on the beach. The reserved parking spot was a great convenience, making it so easy to come and go without stress. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and the heart of Cannes. Our host was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the French Riviera!

Struttura in una posizione strategica e vicinissima al centro / mare. Appartamento pulito , spazioso e con un balcone con una vista stupenda sul mare.
La Sig.ra Michelle molto disponibile e gentile per eventuali informazioni. Posto auto riservato molto comodo in una cittadina come Cannes.
