The apartment itself is nicely appointed. Great views, and comfortable. Has all the appliances you need, and being an older apartment block quite spacious. Quite central and convenient.
Strand as an area seems to be a bit run down -we were not comfortable to walk at night - the flat building itself felt secure.
We had great weather, and the apartment got very hot - not sure what you would do in summer as there is no ceiling fan, aircon and you cannot open the windows more than a couple of inches.
