Quaint Cottage on the Davis Canal, on the quiet western end of Oak Island, 1 block from the beach. Gorgeous views of the marsh and canal! 2 BRs / 2 Baths (both with showers, no tubs) Full Kitchen with dishwasher and cookware. Wifi and Smart TV (no cable service, but you can enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu!) Great dock with built-in seating - fish, crab, launch your kayak, or admire the sunrises and sunsets. Note: floating dock during low tide sits on the bottom - which is more suitable for kayaks. Public boat ramp and the new Lonerider restaurant are one block away! *** ABSOLUTELY NO PETS or SMOKING— we have a daughter with severe allergies.*** **Rental Deposit and Rental Damage Insurance required for all rentals. **Guests supply their own linens, towels, etc—or can rent linens on their own. *_*}~ kAll living spaces are on the second floor. ** Our calendar is always up to date- so make your request directly through VRBO.

Rental is located in great location with easy walking access to beach and beautiful waterfront views on the ICW. Very clean and cozy! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. The only negative was the mattresses on both queen beds need to be replaced. Our son & DIL both agreed their mattress was not comfortable nor was the one on the bed my husband and I shared. Other than that, the home was perfect! We could not have asked for more perfect weather than we had the last week of October. Beautiful weather every day!

It was nice and quiet and the place was very clean and spacious. My only problem was that there were no curtains in the bedroom to block out the sunlight in the mornings. I am a night shifter and not an early riser so curtains would have been nice to have. Overall a very nice place to stay.

All was just great. Peaceful! Will rent again. However, recommend checking with host when landscapers are coming, so you can move your car out of the way!

Easy walk to beach. Perfect for fishermen. Best of both worlds. Don’t miss the sunrise and sunset. Bicycles were a plus. Be sure to ride them to the point for the sunset. No regrets!

The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Yes, it’s an older house (one off the first on the island) but it has been very well maintained and is perfect for a small group. We loved the well stocked kitchen as well as all other furnishings and decorative touches. You simply can’t beat the location. The best of both worlds.. waterway out the back door and the beach a block the other direction. We even caught dinner (shrimp, crab, croaker, and black drum) off the dock! The sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Will definitely stay again… maybe next time for a few weeks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was our first time vacationing at a North Carolina beach, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The home was bright, spacious and well-equipped. The neighborhood was very quiet and the view from the large back deck was spectacular. The beach was uncrowded and access was only a short 1/2 block from the cottage. Angela - the owner - was very responsive and friendly. There is one restaurant on the bay which is a 3 minute walk from the cottage; otherwise it’s an easy 3 to 6 mile drive to other shops and restaurants.

Very clean and extremely peaceful here. Much better than even Holden, and Holden is great…and 10 times better than the SC beaches in our opinion. Easy access to beach which wasn’t crowded even with it being the 4th week. Also, fireworks were everywhere and extremely entertaining watching from deck.

This place was clean, stocked, and the location can’t be beat! If you’re a fisherman, this place is for you! Comfy beds, cold AC chairs and an awesome beach cart, bikes, and so many small details that made it perfect! Angela was very thoughtful and quick to respond. After we arrived we realized one of the bikes had been broken, she had a new one delivered within the hour! We will be back next year!!!

The location of this house was the best! A very short and easy two minute walk to the ocean, and the most wonderful view of the waterway and dock. The view out the windows and from the back deck never got old - I didn’t anticipate how relaxing it would be, and how much it would add to the vacation feel. The house itself was super comfortable for lounging in the evenings and the kitchen was wonderful for cooking all our meals. Everything exactly as described, clean, and welcoming. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you to Angela for good communication throughout the booking, check in, and check out process.

This property was exactly as described. I love the layout of the house, it was clean, and the view from the back deck was beautiful. Access to the beach was like a 2 minute walk. Anytime I reached out to Angela, she immediately responded. I've never been to Oak Island. I loved it and will definitely be back.

Bed and furniture were very comfortable, Beautiful dock and porch were so relaxing and the beach was a short walk across the street! Communication with owner was flawless. This was the 2nd time staying and it was great again. We really enjoy the channel side and the 3 minute walk to beach is great also. The cottage is clean and well stocked and Angela is only a text away if you have any questions. We are already planning a fall getaway for later this year. Thanks again for letting us stay.

This property was perfect for a kayak fishing trip. We were able to use the dock to launch our kayaks and even caught fish directly off the dock. Property was clean and met our needs exactly.

This is a beautiful cottage, open and airy, well stocked. The kitchen table has a great view of the river, and we enjoyed reading a book on the back porch and down at the dock. We loved watching the fishing boats and crabbers, and the varied wildlife. The ocean is an easy walk, a straight shot across the road. One of our best days was a visit to nearby Wilmington, and we also enjoyed Southport for lunches. Communication with our host was excellent. A lovely, peaceful place to vacate!

Absolutely loved this home! The dock with its view of marsh and both sunrises and sunsets was amazing. The house is perfect for two couples or a family. Very comfortable and well appointed kitchen. It is a short 3 minute walk to the beach and close to the Point. Fishing and beaching.....its perfect. The owner is easily accessible and helpful. Will return 🥰

The property was perfect in size to our group of four and a 1/2. We have stayed at various locations on Oak Island and have always admired the west end (we wont stay anywhere else now that weve been spoiled!). The views are impeccable and the location is ever better! Maybe a one minute walk to beach - tucked away along a quiet back road with the best neighbors! The fishing was great and dabbling in the recreational activities of the intercoastal waterway was by far our favorite! The property owners are a dream and they have thought of and provided everything in a kitchen or day at the beach!

This was our second stay at the beach cottage. We love it! It fits our family perfectly and we enjoy the wonderful views of the intracoastal and the convenience to the ocean. We will continue to return to OKI and this cottage!

The owner was very helpful. Available imediatly woth any questions I had. The home has open concept kitchen/dining & living room. 1 bedroom woth bathroom at 1 side of house. 2nd bedroom with bathroom at other end of house. Best of both worlds walk out back door to fishing dock on the canal. We saw a dolphin and caught a flounder. Walk out the front door for a 2 minute walk to the beach. Very clean nice place.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. My husband and daughter spent every afternoon and evening on the dock fishing. The house is in the perfect location a short walk to the beach and the intercostal waterway in your backyard. The cottage itself is charming. We made wonderful memories on our trip and look forward to staying again! Thank you Angela for being such a wonderful host!
