Above a cake and coffee shop! Close to museum, bus station, and Temple. Friendly and helpful staff excellent air conditioning
Temperature and flow of water intermittent in bathroom and shower. Rather grim stairway to get to room. No seating on roof terrace. Access to balcony was not via bedroom.

I loved this place: Gorkha isn’t big, but this place is 50m away from the bus stop; the room is great, there is balcony and a roof terrace, and Bharti, the owner, and Rubina, who is the girl in the cafe are lovely, helpful ladies.
There is a large hotel nearby under the same ownership that is a great place to eat and look over the valley.
If you’re going to climb the 1500 steps up to the Palace on the summit of the mountains, there are places all the way to stop for coffee and water
