Chalet Morclan is an OVO Network property. It is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom chalet for 8 (6 adults max) spread over 2 floors and 180m2 of floor space. The OVO Network team’s opinion - Guests at Chalet Morclan vary from couples who want a base from which to explore this beautiful corner of the Alps, to families wanting to spend quality time together, to sports fans itching to experience or observe the vast array of local sporting possibilities and events, all year round. A stay at the chalet enables guests to combine enjoying peace and quiet, stunning views, and opportunities to observe wildlife up close and personal, with proximity to a great ski resort set in the heart of the Aravis mountains, just a short drive away, and the fabulous Lake Annecy and Annecy itself a little further. It's no wonder guests frequently return to Chalet Morclan! Chalet Morclan sits on the crest of a hill and therefore has amazing, virtually 360 degree panaormic views. Summer and winter enjoy the views of the beautiful Manigod valley from the large deck area which wraps around two sides of the chalet. Follow the sunshine, with a different view for each meal! There is a flat garden above the chalet with trampoline and table tennis. The hot tub sits at one end of the deck, so that guests can appreciate the scenery while relaxing in the bubbles. Furnishings, soft furnishings and deco are changed regularly, equipment, games, books etc are also checked and updated often to ensure guests enjoy a fresh and clean holiday experience. There is an open fire in the lounge, and the largest bedroom upstairs also has a TV and seating, meaning guests can spread out if they so wish. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. Please note : the drive to the chalet is quite steep, every effort will be made to have it cleared of snow on arrival and departure days, be aware you may need to leave your car at the bottom of the drive and walk up. Furthermore, the shed (mazot) by the parking belongs to a neighbouring farmer, who needs occasional access to the equipment within all year round. Please do not park in front of it. IMPORTANT - Due to the harsh Alpine weather, the summer deck furniture (including the angled parasols), is not available from the end of the October/ November French school holidays, until the end of April. Instead, we provide all-weather seating plus a picnic table with benches for guests to use.For guest safety, the table tennis table and trampoline are not available from the end of the October/ November school holidays, until the end of April. The property is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility. SECURITY DEPOSIT We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. The chalet is charming, comfortable and well thought out. Beautiful large terrace. Thomas and Grâce are attentive and responsive. Lovely stay despite mixed weather, the mountains are always beautiful whatever the weather. The snow-capped peaks are magnificent, as are the valley and the misty forests. We made the most of the jacuzzi above the clouds as if in the clouds. The little one loved the children's library. The family is delighted. Thank you for the recommendations of walks and tables, and also for being so accommodating.

Thank you all for another wonderful stay at Chalet Morclan! This is our third time here and it is perfect! There is everything to make you feel at home. The property is perfectly situated in this corner of the Manigod valley. We've all thoroughly enjoyed our time here again and sad to be leaving! Looking forward to returning! Very nice chalet with all the comforts at the end of a small street. It is very quiet with a huge terrace and a beautiful view of the mountains. There are also beautiful hikes available. Just perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful chalet with its magnificent views. The hot tub was great, especially after our bike tours and hikes. Welcoming by Corinne was arranged perfect. The reblochon, cake and wine was a nice surprise. Although early in the season, we were very lucky with the weather. There was sun on the balcony all day long. We certainly recommend this chalet and we really would like to come back in the future!

After a good hike, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub
Fantastic chalet in a fantastic location. We did not know about this area before we booked for a hiking holiday and we were absolutely impressed with the amount of hiking trails available. The chalet itself is really comfortable but the main attraction is the veranda! The views are just stunning and after a good hike we enjoyed coming back and relaxing in the hot tub and spending time outside. Very comfortable garden seating/sun beds and eating areas made this a really good chill time! Everything else is as stated in the chalet info and the kitchen is really well equipped. Would highly recommend!

Chalet Morclan is a beautiful property, very comfortable with stunning location and views. The property manager was friendly, helpful, spoke good English and contactable on WhatsApp very easy. We enjoyed the lovely welcome gifts.

Le chalet est parfait pour de belles vacances en famille. Il est beau, confortable et bien décoré. Nous avons particulièrement aimé le grand salon familial, la literie de qualité, la propreté impeccable, la grande terrasse, le jacuzzi et la table de ping-pong. La vue est incroyable et on se sent "perdu" dans la montagne.
Merci à Corinne pour son accueil chaleureux et aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié toutes les attentions : le reblochon, le vin, la tarte aux myrtilles... Corinne était très attentive à notre confort et très réactive lorsque nous avons eu besoin d'elle.
Le chalet a fait d'emblée l'unanimité des 3 générations de notre famille. C'est une adresse à recommander et nous y reviendrons certainement.

Magnifique et vaste chalet en hauteur avec une vue à couper le souffle. il ne manquait de rien, tout était parfait et le jacuzzi nous a permis de se relaxer après de belles randonnées aux alentours nous recommandons fortement. Un très grand merci à Sylvie d'OVO Network et notre hôte, Corinne, de nous avoir permis de passer un superbe séjour au chalet Morclan à Manigod.

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour au chalet Morclan. La description et les photos sont tout à fait conformes à la réalité. Le chalet offre une vue magnifique depuis les différentes pièces. Le jacuzzi a été très apprécié, 38 dedans, 0 dehors et une ambiance parfaite. Corinne qui nous a accueilli a été d’une grande gentillesse, et les petites attentions ont été très appréciées. Nous reviendrons !!

Magnifique endroit pour la découverte de la neige pour nos deux bébés. De belles randonnées en compagnie de chiens du village. Merci pour cet accueil, le chalet Morclan est très bien équipé avec des jeux et des DVD's. Nous avions tout ce dont on avait besoin pour prépare des bons petits plats.

Tout était parfait pour cette semaine de Noël: le chalet Morclan est superbe, parfaitement équipé, joliment décoré et avec une belle météo ensoleillée... le rêve ! Tout a commencé avec le charmant accueil de Corinne, les gentilles attentions de Karen nous attendaient sur la table. Nous avons découvert les lieux qui sont encore mieux qu'en photos ! Les enfants ont pu profiter du ski dans la station familiale de la Croix Fry et nous avons fait de jolis balades. Et le jacuzzi en fin de journée a fait du bien à tous! Un grand merci et nous espérons revenir bientôt afin de faire découvrir ce petit coin de paradis à nos proches.

Nous avons passée un beau séjour à 8 amies dans ce chalet, pour nous imaginer un stage d’ateliers créatifs. Nous avons adoré l’ambiance intérieure, l’aménagement pratique, la disposition de la maison. C’était très agréable de vivre un quotidien dans cet endroit. Le jacuzzi est un peu la cerise sur le gâteau de tout ce que l’on peut faire sur place, entre la bibliothèque de dvd, les plateaux de jeux, le bain, la superbe cuisine super équipée (avec appareils à raclette et fondue) et cette grande terrasse spacieuse. La vue est splendide. Le contact avec Corinne la manager est très fluide et agréable. Merci pour votre présence Corinne! Bonne saison et un grand merci pour tout.

Beautiful stay in chalet Morclan
Our group enjoyed a marvellous stay in this beautiful chalet. Everything was perfect, even the weather! We spent our evenings on the sunny terrace, enjoying a nice meal and a glass of wine. This was our second stay in an OVO Network property and we couldn't be happier with how smoothly our trip went. We will be back, Vielen Dank, from Germany!

Que dire de plus... Nous avons passé des vacances splendides au chalet Morclan. Tout était pensé dans le moindre détail. Mais nous devons laisser une mention spéciale pour Corinne. Elle sait accueillir, son sense de l'hospitalité et de l'organisation, n'a d'égal que le cadre majestueux des montagnes grandioses que sont les Aravis. Encore merci pour tout, nous reviendrons !

Ce chalet est exceptionnel, son emplacement idéal, sa conception parfaite, et il est super bien équipé. Il est très chaleureux et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La terrasse et le jacuzzi en font un endroit de détente parfait et nous avons eu du mal à le quitter. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Une météo ensoleillée qui nous a permis de profiter de l'immense terrasse ainsi que de sa vue sur la Tournette et l'Aiguille de Manigod. Cette vue incroyable nous a inspirés: trails, randonnées, sorties vélo... Les quelques orages d'été ne nous ont pas découragés et nous avons même pu préparer une raclette estivale dehors pour le dîner. Merci à vous, et à OVO Network pour ce week-end dépaysant et ressourçant. Nous repartons l'esprit serein et reposé vers la Bourgogne.

Wonderful holiday
Our warmest thanks for a wonderful week. The views were spectacular, especially on the balcony table area.
The trampoline and table tennis have well used and had a lovely touch to this lovely experience for the family.
It was great to lounge about in the hot tub and gaze at the stars. We were incredibly lucky to stay in a chalet so well located next to popular destinations such as Annecy or La Clusaz.

Great time
We had a great time staying at chalet Morclan.
The view from the terrace was absolutely gorgeous, the hosts were super nice (we arrived past check in time, but it wasn't a problem at all).
The chalet is very well equipped and looks exactly as on the pictures of the advert.
