Though there are a few stairs to climb there are many reasons to climb them. The house was clean, appliances worked and it was attractive. The owners are communicative and show care in this home. The Beach bikes that do not usually get offered were beat up but useable. Respect for each other as tenant and landlord was honored and greatly appreciated.

It was a great house. Was very clean and neat. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Bert and Nadine were very friendly and explained everything to us, and told us the best place to see the fireworks. We highly recommend this house, and are looking forward to comming back.

Great stay overall!
Great stay overall!
The property is exactly how it is listed and in a beautiful town! The boardwalk is definitely walkable; however the beach is a bit far with all of your beach stuff so we decided to drive. The owners were very nice and informative upon check in as well. Would recommend.

The house itself is well built and designed for the tiny lot it was on. While traveling across the country from MONTANA to NJ, we were being texted by the owner as to our EPA at least 4 times. When we finally got to the house he was inside watching TV and then wanted to show us around and give us rules of the place. As experienced people who rent through VRBO often, this was odd to us. Prior to our coming I was surprised to learn we might have an extra guest, our son whom we hadn't seen in several years, so as a courtesy, I phoned and texted the owners to alert them, and was curtly informed of their limit of people and then told I would have to pay a fee for that extra person, and to have a check ready at check-in. We agreed and it was understood that if he didn't come, we would get our money back. The owner actually said that they have security cameras so they would see extra people yet they appreciated my calling. So this created some tension for us, yet we made things work by moving people around to a relative's home nearby and staying within the number of people they had listed on the ad. To our surprise when we got to the house, there was a certificate of occupancy for 8, yet scribbled next to that number the owners wrote 7. We all felt this was unreasonable once discovered since some leniency over 1 extra person when there was legally room, seemed petty. Then we began to unload things and get settled. We discovered 2 rolls of TP nearly spent and 1/2 roll of paper towels. When we asked where the supply might be we were told "I guess the previous people used up the supply, you can go down the street to the store and get some". I took photos of the cabinets under the sinks which were junked up with all trash and the owner's stuff, thrown in piles. The 3 single beds weren't even attached to the headboards and fell over several times on the kids. The few hangers in the closets were beaten up ones from the dry cleaners and the closet with all the cleaning equipment was junked up and had piles of dirt/dust just pushed inside. One of the great things for us was seeing them post that there were bikes and boogy boards for our use. It turned out tires were flat, kick stand was broken and kept getting stuck in tire., boogy boards were so old the straps came off as soon as we picked them up. There was no tire pump and the valve was broken on one bike, so our son purchased tubes, installed them and also too the bikes to a shop to get them filled.
