About this house rental

Located in Mijas, this charming house for $213 per night is a great option for your next trip. This beautifully restored village house is one of kind. With its thick walls, terracotta floors and old wooden beams that speak of tradition and character, it also has double glazed south facing sliding french doors from all of its rooms and large terraces from all of its bedrooms and living room. Upon entering there is a split level living and dining room with a fireplace, guest toilet, fully equipped kitchen a very large master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom that also opens out onto the terrace off of the living room. All of the rooms have uninterrupted sea views The private pool is accessed by one flight of stairs and is in a garden patio setting. NB the pool is shut down usually from November through March. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one with twin beds and the third bedroom is smaller with a single bed but with a pull out separate single bed. There are huge terraces coming off both of these bedrooms. All bedrooms have dual a/c and heating. Between them is a large family shower room with with huge stone walk in shower (again with a view) simply put, every room has a sea view! high speed fibre optic wifi throughout house. This house is not suitable for wheelchair use or for children under 5.

We stayed for a week. Villa was better than portrayed on the website. Great position, well equipped- homely. Ariane was really helpful but really we didn’t need anything. All in all a real gem!

We have enjoyed a lovely week in Mijas. The character and authenticity of the town are equally evident in this lovely villa. It is breath taking to step into the property from the narrow street to be confronted by the views from the rear terrace across the coastal plain and the Mediterranean Sea. The villa is packed with ‘olde World’ charm while also offering a very clean, comfortable & well furnished living space. The kitchen is very well equipped & functional, while having the luxury of a swimming pool in a property so central in this tightly packed town, is a rare delight! We have enjoyed a fabulously relaxing week here, when we were able to explore Mijas without the trouble & expense of a rental car. We would love to repeat the experience in the future & this villa would be my first choice accommodation!

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at this fantastic villa. Spent a lot of time in the pool. Villa is in a great location, just walk out the door and the shops and restaurants are a short stroll away. A beautiful villa, a beautiful place to visit and Ariane was very helpful.

We have just returned from the most amazing stay in Mijas. The house is absolutely beautiful and full of character and the views are some of the best I have ever seen. Everything you need is a short walk away and the bus stop for trips to Fuengirola is very close too. Ariane was very helpful and available if we had queries. The first thing we noticed when we walked round the house was how clean and well equipped it was. I would definitely stay again when I next visit Mijas

Beautiful traditional village house in great location. Fantastic views of the coastline and ocean. The house was clean and tidy and well facilitated. The kitchen was small but adequate and well equipped and finally our host was lovely.

We have just returned from our 2 week stay in this wonderful village home - our first ever visit to the wonderful Mijas Peublo. The pictures do not do it justice and literally within 5 minutes walk you have the choice of so many wonderful restaurants and shops. We hired a car with Helle Hollis (highly recommend) although you would not need to as taxi/uber are excellent in the area and there are several good little supermarkets within walking distance which are not much more than the larger ones in Mijas Costa. The house is very traditional but with excellent shower rooms and a wonderful, very well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery etc if you decide to cook in house, which we did on few nights, so as to enjoy the wonderful views from the various terraces. Beds very comfortable and AC great in the bedrooms. There is some street noise which we did not mind as it was lovely to be situated in such a diverse and lively place. There is some evidence of shops/bars/restaurants still not reopened following Covid but still plenty of choices and everyone so very welcoming, especially when we used our "rusty" Spanish. Ariana could not have been more helpful and it was lovely to be met in person and shown around but also to know she was on hand if we needed anything, which we didn't. This was our first trip abroad in 18 months and although extremely stressful process getting out to Spain we would not have missed our trip for the world. Much needed and we left feel very relaxed and rejuvenated, if not a little heavier from all of the wonderful eating and drinking out but most of all feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful home to stay in. We would highly recommend and not hesitate to return.
