Perfect accommodation, like a little hidden oasis retreat

Beautiful property with stunning views towards the sea. Comfortable beds, great shower, tv with British channels (a must for us). We only booked a couple of night but wish we stayed longer. Baz and Deborah were very friendly and welcoming to their gorgeous home.

Perfect stay at Mijas Residence

Mijas residence is perfect all round! Location is great 20 min (uphill) walk into Mijas or 5 mins on the bus which the stop is directly outside the property. Pool area is gorgeous, rooms are well equipped and decorated lovely. The honesty bar is a great idea. Bas and Deborah are great hosts! We’ve booked to go back again next year as we loved it so much!

A very peaceful and relaxing spot just outside the picturesque village of Mijas.

A beautiful apartment with stunning views of the coastline. Bas and Deborah were so friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble.

Will definitely go back!

The property and the hosts were excellent. The facilities and relaxed nature of the environment was just what we wanted. Couple that with fantastic views and it was near perfect.

Walk uphill to Mijas Pueblo, although buses and taxis were available!

The owners are hands down two of the sweetest people you will ever meet! They put so much thought even into the little details. The view is spectacular. The location is peaceful and a great place to experience serenity. Definitely book here-you won’t regret it!

Immaculately clean , gorgeous scandi decor rooms very well equipped they’d thought about everything. Breakfast was delicious.

Very relaxed holiday in a beautiful villa

Mijas Residence is a beautiful villa that has been split into 6 apartments with the owners living on site. We loved the facilities and the decor and the owners Deborah and Bas went out of their way to ensure we had a fabulous holiday.We were in no6 with a patio and 2 beautiful terraces. Very roomy for 3 adults. We also loved the honesty bar and Deborah's fabulous breakfasts.

The nicest place I have stayed in. We didn’t want to leave the residence.

The residence was absolutely stunning. It has been the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in. Deborah and Bas were so lovely. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were gorgeous. Everything was 10/10!

The breakfast was great! The hosts were perfect, very welcoming and helped us with everything!

The hosts where really friendly. We loved the apartment No:2, Great size for two people. Fantastic views from whole of property. Beautifully fresh & clean everywhere. Extra cover on bed was welcome for cooler nights. Quiet in rooms even though it was just off the main road. Free Safe in room even though we felt we where perfectly safe in this little beautiful friendly complex.

Would be helpful to always have a shower mat available at all times. Shower tray was so slippy & dangerous where I nearly fell a couple of times. Sloping slippy base was like ice after showering. - Thicker curtains / blind needed in bedroom to stop early morning light. - Make avail little baskets / containers for personal toiletries on shelf below sink. - More drawer units needed for clothes maybe a tall Ikea Malham unit side of wardrobe? - No headboard which made it difficult to sit up in bed to enjoy the beautiful view & stop head banging on metal art work that was attached to wall. (Maybe attach a permanent padded headboard to the wall?) - How about adding strip lighting to inside of metal art work to show it off more beautifully & give room a little more ambiance instead of the bigger lights? - A small reading/ambient light needed in living room / kitchen area - Maybe add small strip lights also below the kitchen units?

would recommend for a short break if you want to be away from it all but still close to all restaurants and amenities.

absolutely beautiful

The property is absolutely beautiful. The views were magnificent . The grounds were laid out so nicely, areas where you could lounge around the swimming pool area, sun lounges in the garden area. lovely bar area you could have a drink at. Our room had a lovely seating area with table and chairs where we could have our breakfast overlooking the views of the sea . was so relaxing and made to feel welcome. nothing was a problem

beautiful property, lovely owners, excellent location, the pool was amazing with a view you won’t believe

nothing I didn’t like. we walked in to Mijas a couple of times a day which suited us but it is about 20 minutes uphill so would not suit someone with health or mobility issues (although it is possible to drive).

Just back from a relaxing week at Mijas Residence. Bas and Deborah were the perfect hosts, made us feel welcome and relaxed from day one. It was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway from it all holiday. We have every intention of returning, maybe even next year!! ??

Comfortable bed, good shower, lovely bar area, very friendly owners. Fairly close to the village with plenty of restaurants and very cheap parking at 1 euro/day (this is not a mistake)

So rare to find something so perfect.

From the moment we booked until the day we left everything about this stay was excellent. Our hosts Deb and Bas were wonderful and made sure our stay was perfect in every way. The location was perfect, the views were fantastic and the residence has been recently renovated to high standard. We feel lucky we managed to secure a booking - if you considering a quite, relaxing stay do not hesitate to book !

Beautiful property and so peaceful.

Beautiful property, like staying in a private villa. Room was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Amazing view from balcony. Baz and Deborah were great hosts.

Not walking distance to any bars/restaurants (although taxis are easy to get and there is a bus stop right outside which goes to Mijas and Fuengirola)
