This spring fed lake offers crystal clear waters where guests can enjoy summertime activities such as fishing, boating, water sports, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching, world class golfing, tennis, hiking, biking, and so much more! In the winter, don't forget your skates! Lake Morey has an incredible 4.5 miles skate trail. Skate rentals are also available at The Lake Morey Inn which is just a stones throw away. Winter sports also include; pond hockey, ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. This is the perfect place to create lasting memories with friends and family in picturesque rural Vermont. Fire up the grill and have dinner on the wrap around deck and the corner gazebo, while you watch the extraordinary sunsets over the back drop of Eagle's Bluff and Echo Mountain. Watch the eagles and falcons soar by day and listen to the loon's calling at dusk! Camp Tellmar is located directly on the waters edge with it's own private boat dock and raft. The house contains 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and sleeps 10 people. Bedding and towels are provided. If you enjoy golf, the Lake Morey Country Club is just a short stroll away (about a 5 minute walk). There are two single kayak's, one double kayak and two kids size kayak's for your enjoyment. There is a gas grill on the deck for your use. Propane provided. Outdoor fire pit by the edge of the lake. Air conditioning throughout the home. Washer and dryer for your use. 3 car maximum (parking is very tight) July and August - 1 week minimum September through June - 3 night minimum NO PETS

Mike’s place is absolutely perfect for a family getaway. The pictures don’t really do justice to how pretty and well kept this property is. We rented this property for a family get together for New Years, and can’t wait to visit the property again in the summer when water activities will be possible as well.

The lake house was just as it should be. Loved the coziness of the home, and loved that it had separate rooms yet everyone felt very included no matter where you were in the house. The kitchen was well-stocked. The bathrooms were clean and the dated design added to the "lakehouse" vibe. We had hoped to ice skate on the lake but enjoyed kayaking instead. It was a very unseasonably warm December. My kids said they loved the area as it felt like a fairy tale setting but also a ghost story at the same time because our days were filled with mist and fog over the lake and hills. There are cute towns nearby to shop or eat as well. The host was very attentive both before and during our stay. We had all the information we needed, check-in was very simple, and he responded rapidly to any questions. It's definitely on our short list for get-away destinations be it summer or winter.

A fabulous visit! Mike reached out ahead of our visit and made the check in/out very smooth. His family property is perfectly situated on Lake Morey. Morning coffee on the deck was complimented each day by two families of loons who stopped by to check in. Property had a/c for the surprisingly hot days and was extremely comfortable. Will be back!

We stayed 3 lovely, though somewhat rainy days on Lake Morey. It was a lovely setting. The house was well equipped and accommodated our small troop of 6 very comfortably. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for sharing your lovely home and we plan to return for another stay .... hopefully with more sunshine on the next trip.

Our long weekend was January 13 - 16th. It was my wife's 65th birthday and we wanted to celebrate with the family. There was 9 adults and our 8 yr. old Granddaughter. The house was perfect for accommodating all. We played games and had great conversations sitting near the gas fireplace. The views from the living room and the Master bedroom are fabulous. We took a hike up the traiI across the lake to some beautiful waterfalls. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike, by the time our weekend rolled around I felt like I knew Mike well enough to invite him over for cake and ice cream. Thank you very much Mike for a great weekend. I can just imagine how beautiful it must be during the summer months. Thanks again..

We (3 couples) were attending a wedding a few doors down from this property, and decided to stay here for the location, views, comfort, and setup. It delivered all around! You can really tell that the owners put a good amount of love and care into this property. It feels like a good friend is sharing their family lake house with you. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock, swimming, views, waterfront, fire pit, grill and house. We would definitely come back.

Hello! We stayed at this lovely house with our family (my parents, my sister and her partner, and my two young children). The house was perfect for the chaos of this mixed aged group. My four-year-old and one-year-old loved the little toy lawn mower and toy bike. The house was very clean and comfortable. And the lake setting is stunning.

We stayed at the house for 4 nights, and couldn’t have been happier. The house is in a perfect location on the lake, with amazing views from the deck and most of the rooms, and comes equipped with kayaks, a motor boat, life vests, and other equipment to allow guests to fully enjoy the lake experience. The owner Mike could not be more welcoming and responsive to any questions at all about the house or area. I would highly recommend and definitely come back.

A Fabulous Family ReuniFication
Our family has been coming to lake Morey since long before I was born, but this year a record numbers of us were gathering for the first time since the Covid pandemic began, and we needed more beds than we had in the main house alone. Finding this beautiful home on the south end of the lake was a godsend. Not only did it allow us to include 10 more family members than we might otherwise be able to house in our gathering, but it did it in a way that made us all completely comfortable and content with whatever "sleeping arrangement" we were assigned. The place was spotlessly clean and really welcoming when we arrived, and it was no time at all before we were sitting on the porch and spilling our onto the pier for our afternoon "docktails" and sunbathing. We had everything we could want or need in the house -- including a beautifully appointed kitchen (which was fully stocked with fizzy waters, condiments, and even some adult beverages!) two spacious full baths, and four private and comfortable bedrooms. Admittedly, we spent most of our time outside --on the beautifully manicured lawn (kudos to whoever keeps that up!), the spacious porch, or the perfect sun-set dock-- but the inside was just as lovely. Thank you, Mike, for providing such a wonderful venue for our extended family reunion. Everything about the place was perfect!

Best house on the lake
This house has everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of water amenities, board games, toys for kids, toiletries, plenty of beach towels, extra chairs, etc. The view is beautiful and hanging out on the dock or lawn was so peaceful. The back deck has a ton of covered seating for eating meals or just taking in the scenery. There is a separate door to the grill area from the kitchen which is very convenient! At this house you feel like you are very secluded yet the highway and major stores are just minutes away. Mike was the best host I have had when staying in a rental home. Quick to respond and super helpful. The house was also perfectly clean and bedrooms were all comfortable! Everything was thought of when designing this home, I wouldn't change a thing and I would absolutely come back.

Beautiful property
We stayed in this gorgeous properties for an extended New Years weekend so that my immune compromised stepdad could ring in 2022 with a sense of normalcy amid Omicron. It was a wonderful choice. Beautiful location and a well-appointed, comfortable house. Mike gave us pointers on a terrific sledding hill and the walk around the lake is a nice five-ish mile one.
It was not great weather but it didn’t matter. We sat by the fire and enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Mike was attentive when needed and friendly and helpful via messaging. Our only regret was not seeing the place in the summer. Bet it’s gorgeous. Thanks Mike!

From start to finish, this was an amazing stay. We had excellent communication with the owners and felt completely at home. Great fall getaway
Mike's house was exactly as described and set in a great location to enjoy the lake and surrounding communities. Woodstock was an easy drive, as well as of the surrounding towns in nearby New Hampshire. The views of the lake and mountainside were amazing, especially with the fall colors. We can't wait to come back again!

This location was right around the corner from the resort, on the lake and within walking distance to the festivities!
Waking up to the lake view was beyond relaxing and even our 10 month old son seemed to love everything about it!
Our only regret is not being able to stay longer! We will be booking here again for other family vacations!

We had a great winter getaway for February vacation. The lake region has so many excellent family activities to get outdoors in the winter. Beautiful cabin with gorgeous views!
This property was amazing. It is exactly what we were hoping for as we wanted to get away from the city for a couple of days. Mike was extremely friendly and thorough which was helpful in planning our trip successfully. The place was spotless and felt totally comfortable here even with COVID. 100% highly recommend and will be coming back here for sure!

Perfect Winter Getaway
Our family absolutely loved this home. Warm, cozy, comfortable with amazing Views of the lake and mountains. It is even nicer than the pictures. The owners have thought of everything to make our stay so easy and convenient. They could not have been more accommodating, helpful or considerate. We had a wonderful family getaway and plan to return next year.

Staying at this property was an amazing and truly relaxing experience. The check in process was seamless, with the owner actively provding you with all the information well in advance of your check in date. The property itself is very well made and the rustic but modern feel of the place adds to the entire sensation of the location. The lake is beautiful as well and it's right at your doorstep. The place comes with four kayaks to enjoy the lake. We took advantage of the fire pit as well, getting cozy on a cool 55 degree night just overlooking the shimmering lake. Every aspect of this trip was perfect. Big Thanks to the owner for this amazing experience.
