The historic house was adorable and the setting was great.

There were so many flies in the downstairs area that we had to leave. We swept up many dead ones when we arrived, but kept killing them as they swarmed in the living areas. The maintenance was responsive but there was no way they could correct this issue during our stay.

The house was nice and clean, very nice, the yard was pretty big for kids to play

One thing I was very disappointed was that we rented this house for some friends that come to visit us and we took them to show them the house and 30 min later (by this time we had already left the house) I got a call from the house manager that the owner saw the cameras that we where a lot of people for that house and I explain to her that we were not going to stay there only 3 people, but that we did want to hang out there and the lady said no matter what at all times we only could had 6 people. We where only 9 including 2 kids and the 3 that stayed. FYI if you have 6 people you can’t have nobody visit you.

tell people about the jet noise! it was fun but really incredibly loud at times and spooked our pup

Hung out with some friends and some dogs and it was perfect. Beds were comfy and the place was super clean. There was plenty of towels and space!

Distance from Coupeville and touch and go jets during the week.

This is a unique house, previously an officer's quarters. It was very quaint.

Well, I didn't expect it to be right next to a practice landing strip for Naval Air Station Whidbey. We had about 2 hours of touch and go landings by F18 Hornets. Very interesting indeed.
