Friendly staff, especially Ayanda, accommodating and very welcoming. My daughter enjoyed the pool and the chess game that was in the sitting area. We appreciate that we didn’t have any encounters with the lovely dogs and that made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast that was available for us was a really lovely gesture.
The room we were in didn’t have good network connection. I had to leave the room to go to the kitchen area to be able to use my Rain connection. The WiFi connection provided unfortunately also didn’t have good connection in the room I was in.

The price was great. The location was also excellent. Parene was also very helpful and informative. The rooms were large spacious. The quad room was an excellent option and was really helpful to us. The rooms and facilities were neat and the Quad room and Room 5 had clean linen. The airconditioned rooms were a welcome bonus. With a bit of investment and effort, this can be a real jewel in Pietermaritzburg.
The rooms had a lot of moisture issues and the 1st room offered to us (room 5) had a lot of damp and smelt very musty. The second rooms they offered me had old bedding although it was very neat. The room itself was not in the best condition with unpainted walls and water damaged ceilings. My biggest concern though was the mould on the dish rack. That was spotted by my wife and kind of spoilt the rest of her stay.
