Pecan Grove Retreat offers a spacious open floor plan perfect for two families. Bathrooms are fully stocked with bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, toiletries and toilet paper. The Kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, dishes and a dishwasher. There long driveway with plenty of parking. Pecan Grove has a huge back yard with lots of outdoor spaces to entertain and great view of Meadow Lake. There are several decks going down to the Lake with plenty of space to lounge and hang out with family and friends. Outdoor amenities include a BBQ grill, two outdoor dining tables, a fire pit, several seating areas, hammock chairs, regular hammock and three kayaks to explore the river and go fishing. This part of the river is a little known fishing gem and several species of fish can be caught here including: Bullhead, Crappie, Catfish, Large Mouth Bass and Bluegill. We also have several producing pecan trees on the property, so feel free to pick some up and take them home with you. If you are looking for more of an adventure, you don't have to go far from here to find it. Pecan Grove Retreat is located less than 30 minutes away from Schlitterbahn, Tubing on the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers in New Braunfels, the San Marcos Outlet Mall, Natural Bridge Caverns, The Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo featured on Dirty Jobs, The Gruene Hall , Gruene Historic District, the New Braunfels Rail Road Museum, Landa Park, Prince Solms Park and the Faust Street Bridge.
