We had a wonderful time during our 9 days stay at Ebony. We were in the spacious lodge in the beautiful garden. The owners organized all kinds of activities and drove us to the locations when needed: boat tour to an island, horse riding on the beach, canoeing to see fireflies, soap workshop. We also visited together the neighboring archeological site. We enjoyed great fish and sea food prepared by the cook or Andrissa: stuffed crabs or squid, curry fish, shrimps, etc. The cook also purchased local food items for us. There are two places where to do a Covid test before flying back home. We went on a Friday morning and got the results the same evening. The owner printed the results for us. The taxi driver who picked us up from the airport, was always punctual and spoke good English. Internet was good and we had no power cut issues. Everything was very easy and went smoothly. The lodge has a great terrace and big swimming pool (quite cold during winter time). The beach is beautiful and there were no tourists. Friendly local fishermen. The owners have two dogs, Leo and Zaza :-)

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. I would have appreciated a better equipped kitchen, including a blender to make fresh juice and a microwave to warm up the dinner (the cook does not work in the evening, unless you pay extra). There is no bathtub in that lodge. You need to use the mosquito net at night.
