Excellent location right on HW path. Nice bar and indoor/outdoor seating. Accommodation was very comfortable and quiet. Bathroom is a bit dated but shower was good. Can’t fault it really and would recommend. Very reasonably priced breakfast.
The taps in the bathroom sink should ideally be a mixer tap as hot water by itself is way too hot to use and could scald someone.

Breakfast and service was fantastic. Rooms were just right and lovely and quiet.
No sign on the river footpath directing us to The Keelman. (we actually ran past ! )

Perfectly located for the Hadrian's Wall Path. Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our evening meal, breakfast and packed lunch for our walk the following day. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs.
