A riverside hotel, on the Hadrian's Wall path. The chalet-style rooms are a little dated, but the bar and restaurant area is a fantastic space to spend the evening.
It's picky to say the rooms need an update, but that's the only negative I can think of.

In a nice area with a park and river nearby. Decent size room with comfortable beds and both a bath and shower with plenty of hot water . Beds comfortable to. Breakfast cooked to order and fresh but no cereals available for some reason. Would have liked a selection put out. The staff member who was doing breakfast dining duty was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and even sorted our taxi out even though she was busy
Paid £140 with breakfast extra . Well over priced but it was the Great North Run weekend so it’s about supply and demand. Outside seating are was a little untidy.

Excellent location right on HW path. Nice bar and indoor/outdoor seating. Accommodation was very comfortable and quiet. Bathroom is a bit dated but shower was good. Can’t fault it really and would recommend. Very reasonably priced breakfast.
The taps in the bathroom sink should ideally be a mixer tap as hot water by itself is way too hot to use and could scald someone.

Great building. Excellent location for Hadrian’s wall path.
Basic, outdated rooms. Food was very poor - extremely overpriced frozen oven food
