About this house rental
Situated in Leuven, this attractive house for $245 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Trumpet House is located on a wooded mountain wall with view of the 5km further university city of Leuven in Flanders, Belgium. The area of 235 m2 has 2 master bedrooms, one with an antique bed and another with a king-size box spring and an old baby cot. Upstairs are 3 single beds and possibly a double bed. All beds have a thick and thinner pillow and goose down blankets. The maximum capacity is 9 people plus a baby. Trumpethouse has 3 bathrooms. One adjacent to the master bedroom with jacuzzi, shower and toilet, the bathroom upstairs has a bath and toilet. The third bathroom is downstairs and has a rain shower with side sprayers and toilet. Hair dryers, towels and hand soap are standard. The south-facing covered sun terrace is the ideal place to stay in warm weather. Little fresh? The halogen pendant lamp above the table gives you the necessary heat. The view of Leuven is a big asset. A large round Jacuzzi with jet streamers for 5 people is located in the backyard which offers complete privacy. The built-in sauna offers space for two berths or seating 6 people. An eucalyptus odor jar hangs above the heater and cooling can be found in the bathtub. Large sauna towels, bathrobes and slippers are provided. In the fully-equipped kitchen, the hobby chef can enjoy himself. The Falcon fire with 3 ovens and five induction plates is the beating heart. Furthermore, the kitchen is equipped with a retro Smeg fridge and dishwasher, microwave and two water faucets. Some basic products such as pepper, salt, herbs, sugar, oil, flour flour and vinegar are available. The wood stove makes it cozy warm. The eyecatcher of Trumpet House is the large antique fireplace. There is also a wood burning stove in the kitchen. Wood blocks are ready in the copper buckets and are settled at an additional cost of € 15 per day. Outside the jacuzzi there is a built-in fireplace for a barbecue. Halfway through the slope there is a wooden bench and stone table with open fire. In the living room by the fireplace is an antique wooden table for 6 to 8 people. In the kitchen is a bartafel with 4 stools. Outside on the south-facing covered terrace is a design white pick-nick table for 8 people. Trumpethouse features Wi-Fi or wireless internet. In the living room there is a hifi with CD player, in the bedrooms and bathroom a retro radio and on the first floor a flat screen TV and digicorder with recorded movies. On request, a breakfast basket can be provided from the local hot baker. Croissants, pistols, baguettes or special bread, donuts, cheese, boiled ham, confection, chocolate, boiled egg can be delivered to a basket in the morning. Freshly ground coffee and tea are free to use. Stella Artois can be freshly cut at a happy hour rate. Some bottles of local white and red wine and bubbles are in stock and payable. This charming house is located on the Lemingberg, sufficiently remote from other houses and completely in the green. The surrounding area invites you for a solid forest walk or bike ride along the many cycling routes indicated. Certainly ideal for mountain bikes who want to defend the many slopes in this hilly landscape.

The Trumpet House, by far, is the best place I have ever stayed while travelling. The house is amazing, with so much to offer. The personal touches of art and decor made this vacation even more delightful A person could literally spend an entire day at the house just looking and appreciating the nuances that make this house what it is.
I highly recommend that anyone going to Belgium consider staying here. It is centrally located to most anywhere in Western Europe, which makes it easy to use as a base. Brugge in a little over an hour, Paris in three, Brussels in 30 minutes, just to mention a few. Oh, and the Stella on tap is nice bonus as well.
Enjoy the hot tub, or a nice walk in sauna after a day of touring, they are both wonderful.

The property was excellent. Definitely a place to be remembered. The owner has everything you need for a comfortable stay, beer on a tap, wine in the refrigerator, craft beer in the refrigerator, charcoal for the grill, and wood for the fireplace. The owner will inform you if the cost for each upon arrival. The owner was kind enough to allow for a slightly early check in, which considering the jet lag, was very much appreciated. The home is the perfect setting for Belgium. Kind of like you own mini castle. I would most definitely recommend this rental. Please note the owner did have a tendency to be in the garage unannounced. Gathering tools and remove some recycling. Overall wonderful experience.

Dit huis is zo enorm mooi en sfeervol, het lijkt wel een kasteel van binnen. We bleven ons verbazen over de details. Perfecte voorzieningen, zalig koud biertje van de tap, heerlijke prive jacuzzi, mooie bosrijke ligging, vlakbij de leuke stad Leuven en een zeer vriendelijke goed bereikbare eigenaar. Ik kan geen kritisch puntje vinden. Wij hebben meteen een vervolgweekend geboekt.

Une semaine dans un havre de silence et dépaysement assuré dans cette maison atypique. Maison hyper propre, équipements haut de gamme, literie extra. Café, thé à disposition. Accueil de Paul d'une grande gentillesse. Tout a été au rendez-vous, voir plus, avec d'agréables surprises. Merci à Paul.

unieke ervaring in adembenemend mooi huis en omgeving
De foto's online spraken ons al erg aan, maar eenmaal aangekomen was het nog vele malen mooier dan verwacht. Liggend op een groene heuvel, tussen de bossen, staat daar ineens een idyllisch huis, kasteelsfeer echter in hele knusse vorm en een terras/veranda met adembenemend mooi uitzicht tussen de groene bomen en natuur op Leuven.
Aan de achterkant een heerlijke jacuzzi en een pad dat verder de heuvel op gaat en waar nog een zitplaats met mogelijkheid tot kampvuur is gemaakt.
Alles is tot in detail uitgewerkt en je blijft kijken in elke ruimte, binnen én buiten, naar weer iets anders wat opvalt in de aankleding of bouw van het geheel. Duidelijk is, dat er enorm veel liefde in dit huis is gestopt.
Wij hebben een week met ons gezin en aanhang hier doorgebracht om ons 25-jarig huwelijk te vieren en zullen deze ervaring en herinneringen nooit meer vergeten!
Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar iets unieks in een prachtige en rustige omgeving en waar je, ondanks dat je je het gevoel hebt terug in de tijd te gaan, van de meest moderne gemakken voorzien bent.

Great private setting and lovely get away.
We truly loved staying in the Trumpet house. Paul does a lovely job of explaining what is around in the area. The house was great for our family to spread out after over a week of packing into smaller hotel rooms. I highly recommend this property for those looking to explore this part of Belgium. It is a short ride to Brussels and a few other places. Thank you Paul for your hospitality.

Beautiful gem in Leuven
Trumpet house is just far enough out of Leuven city center to give the illusion of being in the forest yet close enough to all you need. The house is beautifully restored and tranquil. It has everything you need to have a restful break or a big family dinner. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable, cozy fireplace, strong hot showers. Just perfect. Paul was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Will definitely book here again.

Prachtig vakantiehuisje, heel origineel ingericht en gelegen op een prachtige locatie. Welness aspect gegarandeerd door jacuzzi en sauna. Met dank aan de zeer attente en vriendelijke eigenaar Paul, die mede de jubileumeditie van ons fietsweekendje - 20 ste jaar - tot een een groot succes heeft gemaakt. De ontbijtmanden waren zéér goed, met o.a. geweldige verse fruitsla. Dit vakantiehuisje is een aanrader van het allerhoogste niveau !!!!

Der Empfang von Paul war super. Die Einrichtung ist noch beeindruckender als die Fotos es erahnen lassen. Wir waren mit 6 Mädels das Wochenende dort. Der Whirlpool ist super! In der Küche kann man sich sehr gut selbst versorgen. Von uns daher 5 Sterne. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt Paul!

Trumpet House is a nice home with many unique architectural features
The Trumpet House is a castle-like house. We enjoyed exploring all the interesting features and unique decorations in the house. The forest setting of the house is quiet and beautiful, and the view from the house toward Leuven is very nice. We loved the hot tub on the cool evenings, as well as the sauna. Overall the house was very clean and well maintained with plenty of supplies; the only things that wasn't perfectly clean were the kitchen taps. We were very happy with our stay, and would return to the Trumpet House if we're ever in the area again.

Take advantage of the traditional breakfast as it will be enough to feed a small army. Our guests enjoyed the hot tub and sauna very much as well as the sweeping view of Leuven from the front porch. There is even a heat lamp to enjoy the outside in the crisp evenings. The caretaker was super responsive and met all of our needs and requests without issue.
You will not be disappointed!

We hebben als vriendengroep een weekend doorgebracht, met 7 personen. Trumpet House is sfeervol te noemen en goed verzorgd. De keuken is compleet en van alle gemakken voorzien. Handdoeken en beddengoed zijn geregeld, het huis is schoon. We hadden mooi weer, waardoor we ook gebruik konden maken van de patio met prachtig uitzicht over de stad Leuven. Zeer aan te bevelen.
