Great location & excellent staff
Next door to a noisy beach club

The location is stunning - we had a Superior Bungalow which was a short uphill walk from the main hotel area and had a gorgeous view (but I guess all rooms will have a sea view due to the layout of the hotel!)
There was a lovely pool located in front of the restaurant/bar area with loungers beside it and another sun lounger area just above it on a glass fronted balcony. Panormos beach is a two minute walk and you can also walk to Agios Sostis beach in about 20 minutes.
The restaurant served good food that was both tasty and reasonably priced - we had breakfast daily and lunch and/or dinner several times. Breakfast was excellent - huge choice of cereal/yoghurt/cheese/cold meats/salad items/eggs/hot options of sausages/scrambled eggs/spanakopita/pastries/cake/bread/spreads...... recommend the warm custard tart!!
There is a taverna next door but we found the staff rather abrupt/verging on rude on the one time we ate there. Decided we'd rather spend our money with the lovely people at the Albatros Club!
Excellent variety of drinks in the bar and again prices were not extortionate - similar to elsewhere on the island.
There is also a shuttle bus service - set times to/from Mykonos Town several times daily but they will also do private drop off/pick ups which is really useful if not hiring a car (we didn't).
The real stars of the hotel are the staff - they all went the extra mile to help out and give advice on places to go. They are so hard-working and yet always had a smile and a cheery greeting - be it in reception, the restaurant, the bar or the room attendants we passed every morning walking down from our bungalow.
The only downside is Principote Beach Club on Panormos beach. There is no getting away from the fact that the music is loud when they crank it up from about 4pm to 8pm (ish) - and it's not chill-out music but thumping techno dance. However - after a couple of days I did start to filter it out when at the hotel pool and could mostly tune into the bar music. It was very loud sitting on our balcony early evening but possibly more so because we were higher up the cliff. It's such a shame as it just doesn't belong in such a beautiful, serene location.

Fantastic and gorgeous property — steps away from Panormos beach, it’s the perfect place to escape all the “seen and be seen crowd” that engulfs Mykonos every year. Breath taking views of the ocean from a serene swimming pool. The staff are wonderful, attentive, they even upgraded us to another room upon arrival.
The restaurant has some of the best food we have eaten in Greece, we even requested a dish (Gamista) which they specially prepared for us the next day. The vegetables are also locally sourced from their own garden. The pool bartenders - Nikos and Jacob have made some of the best cocktails we have had!! They made us feel at home.
To get around the island — the hotel offers shuttle services per a schedule and private transfers to other parts cheaper than ubers / taxis.
Breakfast was an amazing spread of home made yogurts, farm eggs, pastries, breads, juices, coffees — you name it they had it. Delicious, the best we had in Greece and we have stayed at quite a few properties during our time here.
I already miss the Albatross — and am already planning my next visit in the near future. And lastly, they have some very cute cats who are residents at the property this made the stay even better.
