Beautiful hotel with friendly staff
Our room was lovely and functional
As we were travelling with a baby we felt the following let us down and could be improved. The apartment room that comes with kitchenette would’ve been more useful if there were any utensils provided. There was a hob but no pans to use on it for example.
No nearby supermarkets to grab essentials such as milk1 need a taxi ride over 20 mins away.

Positives, staff were always helpful and polite despite us not being able to converse, they did try and should not be faulted individually. The hotel should offer training or employ multi lingual staff.
Pool life guards were very good, always paying attention and there were enough employed to cover a large area. Probably best life guards I've seen in hotels.
Hotel building is fantastic, facilities are very good.
Overall, I'd recommend Tangier, and would recommend the hotel. Understanding that the beach is not part of the hotel and not a a problem they can fix. If the Hilton could fix the (many) small issues it would massively improve the experience, but overall and being fair, Tangier Hilton is good.
Food was poor, communicating with staff was very difficult with language being a problem . I speak 4 languages but still struggled to communicate in a common language. Beach was literally disgusting with foul smelling seaweed everywhere in large banks.
Swimming pool area had discarded dirty nappies and wipes that were not moved for days. Kids and adults would benefit from a dedicated pool and not shared. There are two pools, each being a fixed depth and one should be restricted for young adults and children.
