Great modern apartment in the center of Belgrade, just across the parlament. Hosts were nice, apartment was clean and in the safe neighborhood. Reccommend it.

Location. Good area for restaurants, coffee shops and bakery. Easy to walk to attractions or get public transport. Good communication with host. A description of how to get in as well as the video would be good as the file sent was very large to download with limited data/ poor wi-fi elsewhere. The wifi in the apartment was good.
Outside of building was dilapidated and covered in graffiti and not as expected from the other photos shown in the listing. The shared exterior appeared to be not maintained. The grand building in the photograph is the public building opposite - I had wrongly thought that was the outside of the apartment. There was some shouting outside at times.
There are 2 codes needed to get into the property and a lot of stairs to the 4th floor with no lift. The lack of lift should be mentioned so customers with luggage know to expect that.
On arrival the apartment stank of cigarette smoke from previous guests despite the fact it was no smoking. We could have been made aware of this by the housekeeper.
There was no hot water on the final morning. We hadn’t turned anything off and the host had no explanation or apology.
The tree light in bedroom 2 did not work. My friend felt this bedroom would be better served with proper twin link or a double bed rather than a sofa bed. The first two photos are the main entrance to the apartment block. The third is the view from the stairs 4th floor/ main bedroom.
