Oakview Cottage is perched above the township of Healesville with beautiful views from the spacious deck looking out to Mt St Leonard. It has everything required for a couple looking to escape for a holiday to the Yarra Valley. The cottage is situated amongst the agapanthus, close to shops and restaurants, a two minute drive or 15 minute walk to the centre of Healesville. The cottage has everything you need to stay in and cook a gourmet meal from local Yarra Valley produce. It has a fully equipped kitchen including fridge, microwave, gas cook top and oven with coffee, tea, sugar and milk provided. The deck has a hooded gas BBQ and table and chairs to sit back, relax and enjoy the views, while the 180 degree aspect allows for amazing sunsets. The open plan kitchen and lounge room has a comfortable couch, coffee table and flat screen LCD TV with DVD player and mini hifi system. The bedroom has a queen size bed and wardrobe, plus table and chairs with access to a separate private porch. The modern ensuite bathroom has a toilet, basin, walk in shower and hair dryer. There is ducted heating and cooling throughout the cottage. All linen is provided for your stay. Check in 2pm, check out 11am. Weekly tariffs available. Holiday and peak period minimum stays in place. No smoking.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a getaway, beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and woken each morning to the sound of the magpies and other birds morning chorus. Great workout for the legs on the short walk downtown. Highly recommend Oakview for anyone wanting a quiet retreat in Healesville :)

The Oakview Cottage in Healesville was incredible! From the location, to the views (oh my, the views!), the ease of communications between the host and so much more. The Cottage was only a 2-3 minute drive to the town centre or a 15-20 minute walk (those hills!) and the scenery was spectacular. The place itself was clean and the hosts thought of every little detail and more. We would definitely go back!

Had everything we needed as a jump off point for enjoying all of the activities Healesville has to offer. Quiet and private location with all of the appointments you need for your stay. Friendly faced old black Labrador and native parrots.

Our 2 nights at Oakview Cottage were delightful and a welcome retreat from the city. The views to the nearby ranges were beautiful and framed by the oak trees. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable. We loved the birds that visited and sat on the deck railing - King parrots, Rosellas and a Magpie family with hungry youngsters.

This was the perfect stay for our wedding weekend! The check in was seamless and the view was beautiful. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed to just relax. Beautiful little cottage. Lovely and clean and plenty of space for the 2 of us .Everything we needed was available. It was great to just sit back and enjoy the views and also our visit from one certain ,black lab. Would highly recommend this property.

The cottage was great. It had everything we needed and was quiet and Peaceful. The only issue we had was finding the place. A better map is needed. We would go back again for the cottage and the Yarra Valley as a whole.

The cottage is perfect for a couple's weekend away. Beautiful outlook and although on the same block as the owners, very private and screened from the main house. We had a 4WD so no issues with the driveway but wouldn't want to be in a car with low ground clearance. You will need a car or designated driver; would be a tough walk up the hill from town but you wouldn't get the view without it.

A nice comfortable little cottage suitable for a couple. Very warm and cozy as ducted heating was excellent. A walk to town and back but the walk back includes a hill walk - very good for the legs. Views from the cottage were gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful.

Property and holiday enjoyable. Reason for not giving a perfect score was the shock when first seeing how small the living area was. It would be helpful for that to be clearer than what it appears on the internet.

We had a lovely stay here - Tj was great with his communication and we loved the extra information he provided on the surrounds and things to do. The property itself was fantastic - had everything we could need and was tidy and Well looked after. We just wish we had booked for two nights instead of one.

We loved our stay in the cottage! We loved the location, close enough to walk to town but far enough away to be peaceful with beautiful views. The cottage was clean and well equipped with great kitchen and ensuite. We appreciated the extra touches too like aesop products and who gives a crap toilet paper. Would certainly visit again!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Our sleep scores have never been better and little extra's like bird seed and cold water waiting on arrival was awesome. The cottage had absolutely everything you would need and more including feathered friends coming to visit and a big furry friend too in the dog Billie.
