About this house rental
This independent holiday home with pool is located in Castellamare, in the Gulf of Sicily. It has large covered terraces and outdoor areas equipped for al fresco dining. Here you can spend the hot days in the cool shade. The house is the ideal place for lovers of the sea, who can easily visit the many beaches in the area, which are famous for their emerald green colour. We recommend a visit to the Riserva dello Zingaro (about 10 km), the oldest natural park in Sicily with a 7 km stretch of coastal path that leads from Castellamare del Golfo to San Vito lo Capo. In the nature park you can visit the magnificent cave of Uzzo, one of the first prehistoric settlements in Sicily. There is a thermal centre about 8 km away. The fishing village of Scopello with its typical lighthouses is well worth a visit. Cultural sights such as the Norman castle, the church of Madre Chiesa and the church of St Joseph are a must for those interested in art and history. There are many restaurants where you can savour the typical dishes of Sicilian cuisine.

We were 9 people, and had a fantastic week in this house. Plenty of space, both inside and outside, The view is simply marvelous and to hang around the pool area is just amazing. Massimo is easy to reach and very helpful. There is one restaurant nearby and a foodtruck. You need a car to get to the city, even though there is a path to walk (as you cannot walk by the busy road). Will take about 25 minutes to get down. Did not try to walk back up to house, but my guess is that it takes about 40-50 minutes, and some efforts and sweat. Taxis are almost impossible to get hold of in this area.

Très bien reçus, la villa (immense) est très bien entretenue. Et surtout, on ne se lasse pas de la vue!

La villa è posta in una posizione eccezionale. Di fronte il golfo di Castellammare e dietro le montagne. In pochi minuti a piedi si arriva in paese. La sera la vista del golfo illuminato è davvero emozionante. L’abitazione è posta su tre livelli, ampia e spaziosa , la piscina completa una proprietà davvero di livello.
