Perfect size for 2 people but could accommodate 4.
Bed was comfortable
Host was always very responsive
Walkable distance to town, marina, restaurants and shops.

We were met upon arrival & the host warmly helped us get oriented and into our room - very friendly and welcoming. The entire apartment was modern, clean and well-appointed - a strong plus! The kitchen was small & practical - we prepared a number of meals ourselves, which were easy and straightforward - all appliances & amenities worked well - and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to eat simple meals we prepared in the apartment, from groceries we purchased locally, and take in the coastal town evening & atmosphere. The local grocery store is about a 10-15 min walk away. There are two bathrooms, both with showers & sinks - the larger bathroom has a bigger & more accommodating shower - both bathrooms worked well & were excellent for us, as a couple. The bedroom was quiet at night - it's in the back & away from the street, and offers plenty of privacy. The door keys take a little bit of getting used to, and provided good security, peace-of-mind, etc. We also liked the neighborhood feel of the area & orienting / integrating into Castellammaro's charming coastal town atmosphere. We'd definitely stay again & welcome a chance to re-visit lovely Castellammaro di Golfo.
The main room has a small table - a bigger table would be helpful for working, using laptops etc. There are also relatively few electrical outlets, so we'd charge a laptop on the counter, adjacent the stove, at night, to utilize the available outlet. Street parking can be a bit of an adventure, but patience & being opportunistic will overcome any issue - parallel parking, occasionally in a tight spot, is par for the course in Italy.

Very clean. modern and renovated internally and externally. Very large - we also had a full kitchen. helpful host who always responded to our queries and helped us out. Parking as to be expected was a little tricky at times however as we travelled early October, many of the resident permits had expired end Sept so we were able to find close by. Very close to the centre of Castellamare, close to many restaurants, shops and the port, a lovely area, and small supermarker nearby that has lovely paninis and deli items. Facilities excellent and everything we needed, and bathroom was large, modern and shower worked well, excellent hairdryer! Outdoor balcony with table and chairs, and drying rack. Appreciated the laundry facilities, ample space and layout of the property. I would recommend this accommodation and would stay here again (subject to a small thing being addressed as mentioend).
Only thing to note, and the main reason why I couldnt give this accommodation a 10/10 is the bad smell coming from the bathroom and/or toilet. There was obviously a plumbing/sewarage problem, perhaps this has been raised previously by tenants however air freshener doesnt necessarily solve the problem. It affected our stay and the diffuser going all day and night obviously affected my breathing and caused headaches. Would have liked toiletries/vanity kit as we come to expect with many accommodations we travel at.
