Very good

Prettier area than I expected. House was a great size and everything that we needed was provided. Lots of space and close to the village for walking down to the little shop and pub and to visit the castle. Close enough to drive to Tenby etc for the day.

Superb

Great location, bungalow set in large gardens, exceeded expectations. Great for our large family and dogs. Response of team to minor problem was outstanding.

Need more mugs and cups as we drink a lot of tea. But such a minor point. Loved the place.

Disappointing to find it was not one property as advertised but two independent semis.

The location was perfect for our family holiday

This was advertised as a detached property with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - it is in fact 2 semi detached bungalows - one with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a completely separate self contained annex having one bedroom and separate bathroom and kitchen. There is no connecting door. We were very disappointed as the reason for our holiday was for the whole family to be together - not neighbours for the week. We had to deal with a managing company who rent the property through Booking,com The property is very "tired" in general and was very "grubby" when we arrived. The beds were comfortable, all with clean bedding, but all the floors were dirty. The annex had obviously not been thoroughly cleaned for some considerable time as the nest of spiders proved in the living room. The main building floor was gritty with sand and dirt (including nail clippings!) Having 4 small children we had to sweep and clean the floors throughout before we could settle in. We reported this to the managing agency and they sent cleaners the next day to mop throughout both properties.

We enjoyed the area and activities available but the accommodation was a disappointment and spoiled

The location was very good

When we arrived the key for the annex was not available we had to contact the owner who sent her son to collect it. It was a cold and very wet evening and we discovered that there was no heating, the owners son tried to fix it but couldn't. The water only heated intermittently. We contacted Great Welsh Escapes on the Monday and they sent someone who said the pressure in the boiler was very low and she had fixed this. This did appear to sort the issue of the water out but not the heating, this wasn't sorted until the Thursday. Additionally when we arrived the dishes, cutlery and utensils were dirty and required cleaning before use, as we had no hot water this had to be done by boiling kettles of water every time we wanted to use something different. Overall it was very poor and the owner/Great Welsh Escapes have agreed to pay us £300 in compensation.

Good

There was plenty of room for 10 people, there were 3 bathrooms and bedding linen etc. all clean and comfortable. It was in a quiet situation but still close enough to walk easily into Laugharne (but uphill back!) Washing machine and dishwasher all worked.

All the floors were bare, it would have been a bit cold in cooler weather. There was only enough crockery --no spares for longer meals. There were no tea towels provided -- we had to go out and buy some which we donated to the house. Not enough dishwasher tablets for 10 people for a week

Good but some details need attention

Plenty of parking. Well-equipped and spacious. Pleasant environment and garden

Local information was poor in the house and access via the keybox was difficult and unreliable - needs attention!! Although we had indicated that 11 people were coming, we had to make up a bed ourselves.

Very good

Beautiful big garden which was great for the kids to run around in and also for our easter egg hunt 🤣,house was clean,spacious, nice big lounge and kitchen and very comfortable for a group of friends with children. Very short walk to the town center, but it is all uphill coming back, but still manageable had a 2 x 4-year-olds and an 80-year-old traveling with us, and they managed fine.

No coffee,cooking oil,salt,pepper, tea towels and shower soap provided,also not enough loo roll for family of 11. Dishwasher tablets and washing detergent tablets not labeled so wasn't sure what was what or if both were for dishwasher or not. Recycling not very clear as appeared to be different from where we are from. Shower drains were blocked so water didn't drain. None of the above took away from our holiday and we all had a fantastic trip and would definitely book round park house.

Great Family holiday with the 3 sets of parents

great open space. ideal for the grand kids to run around and play both indoors and outside in the gardens. it was great to have great grand parents, grand parents, parents, kids and the dog in one place. great family atmosphere and get together.

plates to big for microwave or microwave to small. 13.5 tog winter duvet's in summer were to hot and you were not able to change for lighter sheets.

very spacious and sound proof peaceful location and lovely short walk into Laugharne centre… 2 shower rooms 2 fridges and 2 cookers gorgeous complimentary shower gel plenty of toilet paper! thanks for wine and Welsh cakes 😊

grass hasn’t been cut which didn’t give good first impression on arrival but owners did this on request which we were grateful for - although the back bit where we let dog out wasn’t mown.. the only other feedback was that on arrival the property smelt very strongly of dogs - we think it was the futon in kitchen… we also found a used nappy in one of the bedrooms behind the desk.

Exceptional

Wonderful house very spacious and a great design for multiple guests/ couples as you can all have a private room but then the kitchen dining and living rooms were huge for eating together etc. Awsome location just 10 minutes walk to the local castle and sea/ estuary aswell as some handy local shops We went for a family gathering over Christmas and arrived to find a lovely Christmas tree in the living room....a really nice touch! Many thanks for a wonderful stay

I great place for the whole family to congregate and enjoy a relaxing week together.

The property was extremely spacious and uncluttered. The kitchen was well equipped with loads of workspace. It even had two fridges, so no shortage of storage. The sofas and chairs in the lounge were very comfortable, as were the beds. It would be very difficult to fault it in any way.

I am really struggling to think of anything! An expresso / cappucino coffee maker would have been good, but since I had taken my own, even that wasn't a problem. And the weather wasn't great, but that was hardly the fault of the property or the owners!

Nice big house in quiet location close to local amenities

Nice big house in a quiet location with a good size garden and terrace. 3 good size double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Lots of room for the 6 of us plus a dog. It was an easy 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village which had at least 4 pubs, a castle and a beautiful walk along the river. Good walks in the area and easy to get to lovely beaches at Pendine, Tenby and Amroth. We will be back.

A couple of minor things need fixing in the on-suite which I notified the agents about. These did not prevent us from using it and in no way affected our stay.

Despite the above issues we found Round Park spacious, ideal for children. We had a good holiday.

Location was OK

Shaver point & light not working No spare batteries for tv handsets, one had no batteries at all & the cover was missing. No dishwasher tablets. Vacuum cleaner was not very effective. No toilet cleaner, (toilet duck or bleach) No sweeping brush. No Mop & bucket. Kick board underneath oven fell off upon opening the door!!!

Perfect for our mini break and very comfortable.

The pictures really do not do it justice. It was perfect for us and would definitely recommend Round Park. I would suggest updating the photos and facilities available.

The check in time of 5PM was difficult with children, but understand COVID has had an impact on this. It just seems a lot of money to pay for a late check in.

Amazing house with all the facilities

The house is in a quiet place . It has all the facilities that you will ever need like WiFi, 2 bathrooms with toilet, Smart TV , Porch to enjoy the sun or Barbecue. It is 10 minutes walk to the town , plenty of places around for dog walking or sightseeing.

The en suite bathroom door wasn't aligned so had problems closing it . So couldn't use it fully.

A very enjoyable and comfortable stay - would recommend

We loved the location and the spacious comfortable and clean house. The beaches within reach were a treat for all the family and we were blessed with some good weather.

Door to ensuite had some trouble closing fully but only a very minor issue!

Wonderful relaxing stay in the beautiful village of Laugharne.

The location was perfect. We enjoyed staying somewhere tranquil but within easy reach of the beaches. The garden was lovely and perfect for our energetic boys. The house was very spacious and perfect for 2 families. The hosts were great and very responsive to all our queries.

The only minor improvement we would suggest is having a drier as we stayed for 2 weeks and it was difficult to dry our clothes. Also the knives for chopping were not sharp at all and were really difficult to use.
