Petra Sky Hotel

What truly made our stay at Petra Sky Hotel unforgettable was the incredible hospitality and warmth of the people. Ahmed, the manager, was extremely friendly and went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of, especially considering the current war situation. He reached out to us before our arrival to ask what we’d like for dinner, knowing that many local restaurants were closed. This personal touch made us feel at ease right from the start. His attentiveness and care truly elevated our experience. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was just as welcoming and kind, offering us a genuine sense of home and comfort. The hotel’s dining experience was another highlight. The chef prepared an exceptional dinner for us, showcasing local Jordanian flavors. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking—we had a clear, panoramic view of Wadi Musa and Petra, which was absolutely mesmerizing as the sun set behind the mountains. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, making it the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious meal. It was a moment I’ll never forget. Throughout our stay, we felt completely safe and cared for, which was especially important given the current situation. The people of Jordan are incredibly warm and welcoming, and Petra Sky Hotel made sure our visit was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel itself was very comfortable, with clean rooms, great facilities, and a cozy, intimate ambiance that really made us feel at home. If I were to return to Petra, I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else. The combination of outstanding hospitality, spectacular views, and personalized service made this stay one of the best experiences I’ve had. Petra Sky Hotel truly stands out, and I can’t recommend it enough!

What I didn’t like: Due to the war situation, some people might think it's unsafe to travel to Jordan, but in reality, Jordan is extremely safe. The locals are incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease throughout our stay. It’s unfortunate that misconceptions about safety might stop some from visiting this beautiful and peaceful country.

The service by front desk was exceptional. Ahmad at the front desk was very helpful in everything we asked him for. Excellent customer service, thanks Ahmad. The hotel is new and the room was big and the bed very comfortable. Would 100% recommend this hotel. We were very happy with the stay here.

Nothing, everything was good.

The breakfast was delicious, and I highly recommend trying their traditional homemade dinner – it was amazing and very generous. They advised me to start early and watch the sunrise in Petra so I could be among the first visitors. They also arranged a taxi for me and suggested entering Petra from the back entrance, which was a fast and comfortable way to visit The Wi-Fi worked well, the room was clean with a nice view, and the staff were very friendly. Everything was excellent

This was the second hotel I had booked to stay in Jordan in Wadi Musa, hotel was clean and minimal as you would expect from a 3*, amenities were limited, however the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating which made up for the small things.

The breakfast was not up the standard of a hotel very limited options, I was given a room on the ground floor with a single occupancy, however it got super noisy in the mornings as people would be talking in the reception and could hear everything so having a lie in was not an option, there would be comings of guests making noise as the lift was only less then a feet away from the room, the bathroom could do with an upgrade the shower was old. Also the hotel is up on a hill so it was trek trying to get there walking and it also took about 20/25mins walk to get to the petra visitors center it was even longer in the day time as it was hot so made things difficult and all cabs were charging to drive for 5JD which is a lot I have found for a 5min ride. So if your going up and down for 5JD it kind of adds up...when in jordan an Uber ride is less than 2JD going anywhere.
