This is really homely villa with lovely large gardens and pool. We really liked the fact that you're not hemmed in or overlooked by anyone. The pool looks out over countryside which makes it feel really open.
There are three bedrooms (FYI - access to one bedroom is via another) and all are comfortable. The bedrooms have air conditioning - the main lounge doesn't but with the fan on it remains cool.
The BBQ area is great and we used that all the time. It's real outdoor living.
It was also lovely looking after the resident cats.
Communications with the owner and the local property manager was great - they were both very responsive.
If you want a quiet, homely villa with a great pool and outdoor living - this place should be on your list.

We had an excellent holiday in the Algarve staying at this property. Owner Karl-Heinze provided us with all the information required to ensure a smooth and effortless check-in. Property manager Jessica guided us into the property and was available to sort out any issues very quickly and efficiently. The Villa is well maintained and has all the amenities including wifi to ensure a comfortable stay. The cats Adi and Stocksel kept the children entertained. A bottle of wine with crisps on arrival was very thoughtful. We were very happy with our stay and holiday - would certainly recommend to other travellers .

Prima vakantiewoning met zwembad
Uitstekende vakantie villa van alle gemakken voorzien. Hele mooie locatie net buiten de drukke toeristische gebieden maar zeker niet afgelegen. Geweldig zwembad met rondom terras met ligbedjes en ligstoelen. Verder rondom de villa diverse zitjes in de zon en in de schaduw net wat je wilt. Een echte aanrader als je echt tot rust wilt komen.

Wir waren im Mai/Juni 2022 für 3 Wochen im Haus.
Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Herrn Mehrke und der Verwalterin Jessica. Haus wie beschrieben. Besonderheit: ruhige Villenlage, trotzdem mit dem Auto nahe an Stränden und (guten) Restaurants. Betten sehr bequem, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, "Insider-Tipps" hilfreich. WIFI sehr gut. Touren und Tapas mit Gisela sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Zu Fuß zum Strand ist etwas tricky durch die weitläufige, aber schöne Landschaft. Wer etwas irritierend die "Saufmeile" in Albufeiera besucht hat und abends "nach Hause" kommt, fühlt sich in ein kleines Paradies versetzt.

Ruhig gelegener Luxus

Très belle maison avec un magnifique jardin.
La maison est tes bien située et tes agreable. Les 2 petits chats ont fais le bonheur de notre fille d 1 an. Les propriétaires sont très à l écoute. Nous avons envi de revenir l année prochaine.

Villa spacieuse et confortable
la villa était très spacieuse et très agréable avec une piscine sans vis à vis. Elle est aussi bien située et a proximité des plages, des restaurants et des commerces. Le seul bémol que je pourrais reprocher est que pour aller dans la dernière chambre, il faut passer par une autre chambre qui est peu pratique si nous étions trois couples mais pour les enfants c'est parfait ou être deux couples. Et une dernière chose qui m'a gêné est que la salle de bain, la plus grande et communicante avec la chambre du fond a une porte avec petits carreaux et si vous êtes dans la salle de bain, les personnes qui sont dans la chambre du fond en passant vous voit. sinon à part cela nous avons passés deux semaines agréables.

Eine Woche mal raus
Wir haben spontan eine Woche zum Relaxen in dem schönen Haus in der Algarve gebucht. Das Haus bietet dazu die besten Voraussetzungen. Großzügiges Raumangebot, geschmackvoll angelegter Garten, schöner Pool, ruhige Lage, kurze Wege zu Strand, Einkauf, Restaurants.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der Vivenda Borboleta
Das Haus liegt wunderschön und ruhig in einer Sackgasse von wo aus man zum Meer wandern kann. Auch die Klippenwanderungen sind traumhaft. Das Haus hat eine schöne Küche mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben viel gekocht und gebacken. Das Wohnzimmer ist gross und gemütlich. Wir haben jeden Abend ein Feuer im Kamin gemacht. Der Garten ist schön und es hat viele Nieschen und Terrassen, wo man sich aufhalten kann. Auf der Dachterrasse haben wir jeden Tag Yoga gemacht. Das Wetter war herrlich und beinahe jeder Tag im März sonnig. An einigen Tagen sind wir trotz des kalten Wassers im Pool einige Längen geschwommen. Ja, ich kann die Vivenda Borboleta jedem empfehlen.

Ein Traum
Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Sowohl die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Herrn Mehrke wie auch der Empfang durch Wilfried waren einfach perfekt! Das Haus entspricht in allen Details vollkommen der Beschreibung und ist mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtet. Die Lage ist für alle Unternehmungen zentral (natürlich Mietwagen erforderlich), wobei wir die meiste Zeit im Haus am Pool verbracht haben, die wundervolle Umgebung und die zwei süßen Katzen genossen haben. Ein wirkliches kleines Paradies. Wir kommen wieder!

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage
Wir haben in diesem Ferienhaus zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Das Haus, die Terasse und der Garten laden zum Verweilen ein. Und der Pool ist ein Traum und hat zum Schwimmen eine angenehme Größe. Auch für unsere zwei großen Kids war es hier sehr entspannend.
Das Haus ist top ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Geschirr und Gläser sind ausreichend vorhanden. Durch die Lage in einer Sackgasse ( kein Strandtourismus) ist es hier herrlich ruhig und der Garten ist nicht einsehbar.
Supermarkt, ein deutscher Metzger und Lokale sind in nächster Nähe und die gesamte Algarve läßt sich von hier aus super erkunden.
Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen und möchten uns bei Herrn Mehrke für die sehr nette Kommunikation bedanken. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

entspannter Aufenthalt in einem großzügigen Haus
Das liebevoll eingerichtete großzügige Haus war eine perfekte Basis für Ausflüge in die Umgegend. Die gut ausgestattete Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen, der große gepflegte Garten und die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten auf verschiedenen Terrassen um das Haus boten eine hervorragende Basis für Aufenthalte im Freien. Kühlere Abende haben wir im gemütlich eingerichteten Wohnzimmer an einem prasselnden Kaminfeuer verbracht. Die netten, hilfsbereiten und immer ansprechbaren Vermieter und die kompetente Betreuung durch den Verwalter haben zu einem wunderbaren Aufenthalt beigetragen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Ein tolles Haus, mit super schönem Grundstück. Wir inkl. Hund wären am liebsten dort geblieben. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Auch der Verwalter Wilfried, war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche war komplett eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Kommen bestimmt wieder.

Einfach traumhaft schön
Wir hatten leider nur 2 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Es ist einfach fantastisch. Die Bilder werden dem Haus nicht gerecht, in Wahrheit ist es noch viel schöner. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll engerichtet. Die Terassen laden zum Verweilen ein und der Pool ist auch ganz toll. Wilfried, der uns bei der Ankunft begrüßte, war sehr nett und gab uns gute Tipps für unseren Urlaub. Auch die Gegend ist sehr schön und nicht so überlaufen. Es gibt ganz in der Nähe sehr schöne Strände. Der Garten ist toll und es ist wunderbar ruhig. Alles in Allem, waren wir wirklich begeistert und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Maison sublime!!
Nous avons passés 5jours dans la villa située à 20min en voiture d’albufeira et à une dizaine de minutes de sublimes plages portugaises. La villa est impeccable et très bien équipée. Nous avons été accueillis par Wilfrid, qui nous a fait visiter les lieux et répondu à toutes questions!

We were so excited to stay at this beautiful home but we had some difficulties. The first issue came after we booked this property through VRBO the owner sent us a separate contract stating we owed an additional large sum of cash for a cleaning fee. I'm fine with paying a cleaning fee if I know about it in advance of booking and can plan it into the budget. We went ahead with the reservation anyways and paid the extra fee when we arrived. The house was as pretty as it looks in pictures but is a good 10 to 15 min drive from beaches and from town which didn't bother us too much as we were looking forward to relaxing at the property. My husband planned on getting some work done while we were there but the internet is so slow it was completely unusable. We couldn't even use it to research restaurants or things to do in the area it was sooooo slow. And our last issue was Mosquitos. They were miserable. We couldn't even go outside in the morning or evening to eat on the patio. We couldn't even open the windows to let any breeze in. Basically we were trapped inside and even then we all got eaten alive. We couldn't wait to leave. The first night my 10 year old son got over 150 bites. We had to take him to the doctor to get creams. When we showed the property manager he tried to tell us that he had chicken pox. Not sure what the owner can do about the bugs but just wanted to make other travelers aware as I would never stay here again.

Home away from home
We had an amazing 11 days in this beautiful house in Portugal. It felt like a home away from home, we had everything we could require. The hosts are very thoughtful going the extra mile by supplying home comforts such as blankets on the couches for the cooler evenings with our stay in January. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, great bathroom facilities to name only a few. We also received a lovely bottle of wine on our arrival. We will surely be back for another visit.

Tolles "Algarveanwesen" für einen Urlaub der Extraklasse!
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war äußerst nett und zuvorkommend. Aufgrund des detailreichen und mit Liebe erstellten Gästebuches vor Ort, sowie der Möglichkeit beim Vermieter bei Unklarheiten direkt anzurufen, haben wir uns schnell heimisch gefühlt.
Das Haus hat wirklich alles was man braucht und noch mehr! Mehrere Terrassen (inkl. Dachterrasse), ein wunderschöner Garten, einen top gepflegten Pool, einen Kamin, einen Grill, großzügige Zimmer und und und. Außerdem ist uns der "Hauskater" sehr ans Herz gewachsen, der regelmäßig vorbeikam, um gefüttert zu werden.
Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Nachbarschaft inmitten der Natur. Trotzdem ist man mit dem Auto in max. 5 min in der nächsten Ortschaft mit Bank, Supermarkt, Restaurants, Tankstelle etc. . Perfekt für einen ruhigen erholsamen Urlaub!

Insgesamt eine außerordentlich zu empfehlende wundervolle Unterkunft. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Traumhaus
Das Haus ist wunderschön wie auf den Fotos und super ausgestattet. Der Garten mit dem Pool sind dank Gärtner und Poolservice immer sauber und gepflegt.
Zu den Stränden fährt man nur 10 Minuten und hat alle Geschäfte direkt in der Nähe.

Lovely villa, ideally located for the beaches
We stayed (family of four) for two weeks in August. The villa and its grounds are superb with plenty of space for all of us. Our boys loved the pool and there was plenty of room to soak up the sun (it was very hot - mid 30's) without being overlooked by any neighbours. The villa is a short drive from the many beautiful beaches in the area and getting to the super markets and local markets is easy too - you will need a car. The bedrooms were all excellent with air con (thankfully :-)) and the kitchen / cooking facilities (including the bbq) were perfect. Karl-Heinz is a perfect host and answered any questions we had very quickly. All in all we had an amazing holiday and the villa was everything we were hoping for. As I said to Karl-Heinz, we will be back.

Van alle gemakken voorzien
De villa heeft veel ruimte met meerdere slaapkamers, badkamers en toiletten. We voelden ons welkom in het huis. Het zwembad is heerlijk, wel even uitkijken met was losse tegels hier en daar. Het strand is dichtbij, net als de supermarkt en meerdere restaurants. De woning zelf ligt heerlijk rustig. We hebben het prima gehad.

Excellent experience
We stayed at this villa for the month of February 2018 and loved every minute of it. It is spacious, modern, comfortable and well appointed. Jessica and Ana were very attentive to us and Karl-Heinz was only an email message away and was always pleasant and helpful. He is a real gentleman. We felt very pampered. The experience was like being at home, only better. Porches Velho is well located close to amazing beaches, great shopping and yet offers the benefit of a peaceful countryside. If I were to recommend any one place to stay in the Algarve, this would be it. Thank you for making our first trip to the Algarve a memorable one.
