Located in Amelia Island, this lovely house for $483 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Off the beaten path, our Ocean View Beach House is designed to give you an unforgettable and relaxing experience. Located in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, this home provides guests privacy on one of the quietest beach communities on the island. This historical beach neighborhood is the place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the ocean and its white sands. Only a 10 minute drive to restaurants, bars and night life. Just a 3 minute walk to the beach, this magnificent 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom beach house truly offers all the comforts of home and then some. The open floor plan, with ceramic tile floors throughout, includes a fully equipped modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large bar height granite counter top that seats 5 for dining, a large open living room and dining area seating 4 is adjacent to the kitchen and outdoor living space. The property is pet friendly and pets are allowed on the beach. The house offers plenty of opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery on a large veranda with an unobstructed view of the ocean. The veranda offers a roomy sitting area for outdoor entertaining with family and friends or for just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Outdoor dining areas seats 6 and features an outdoor grill. Our luxury unit sleeps eight. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with a pillow-top mattress, a 40" HDTV that you can enjoy watching as you are having breakfast in bed, and a private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a pillow-top mattress. The third bedroom has two twin XL beds. The second and third bedrooms are adjacent to a full bath. There is a separate sitting area with a sofa that converts to a comfortable queen size bed. The area has a full bath that includes a large walk-in shower, and a washer and dryer. The home is equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The home has Comcast Cable, free Wi-Fi for guests, a 55" HDTV and a soundbar. The soundbar is compatible for use with I-pad or I-phone. From the beach, you are a short walk or bike ride to the Omni Spa and Shop, the world-renowned Ritz Carlton and within minutes from several golf courses. Take a short drive and enjoy historical downtown Fernandina. There is plenty of natural beauty to enjoy, as well. Hike the canopied trails of Fort Clinch, explore the marsh ecosystem and Big and Little Talbot Island or paddle the creeks in a kayak. Our whole family (teens and dogs included!) LOVED our stay at Oceanwalk! The house was even better than we expected. We had plenty of space, everything was clean and easy, the kitchen had more than enough for us to cook great meals, and the beach was SO close! We will definitely be staying here again!!!

What a terrific home and the most perfect location! The beach house had everything we needed plus additional amenities. The property manager was always available and helpful. The house is roomy and comfortable. Meals on the porch were magical. We will be back!

We loved the house. It is nice that it is one story so no steps to climb and the house is still pretty large. We really enjoyed the porch watching the sunrise over the Atlantic and hearing the waves. The owner was very responsive to any questions or requests prior to the trip and even called once we arrived to make sure we had no questions or issues. Great experience and we will rent this house again!

We had a wonderful time in Amelia Island on Fernandina Beach. The house was in a great location and actually much larger than we expected. It was very clean when we arrived, everything we needed was there including paper towels, toilet paper, Etc… there was even a cute little welcome note with some snacks! The property manager was always quick to reply to questions and even helped us with early check in! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!!

Three days lodging at the beautiful and comfortable Ocean Walk at American Beach should have been three weeks.

We really enjoyed the house, it was perfect for 6 guests and one dog, maybe would have been too small with more than that. The wifi was strong and the tv was equipped with cable. The beach was a 30 second walk away and even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we enjoyed walking out and breathing the ocean air. Overall we were very happy with the amenities and the property manager was very responsive and worked with us as we checked in for the Thanksgiving holiday. Highly recommend this property!

This house was perfect for our party of 5 that were visiting for the GAFL weekend. Everything was exceptionally clean and just as advertised. Ocean views and beach access were better than expected. We would definitely stay here again.

We had our annual girls trip here and just loved it. The area is great and this ranch home was perfect! The bedding and towels were so soft and luxurious. It was well appointed with so many extras that really made it homey - beach towels, chairs/beach gear, condiments, detergent tabs....so many things that you find yourself having to run to the store for when you forget to bring them. The pictures really don't do it justice. The view from the front porch is closer to the water than it looks from the aerial picture and you can hear the waves coming in from the front porch. The kitchen is quite a bit bigger than it appeared. We thought it looked small in the picture, but it was not at alll. We plan to bring our dog next time too as it is a great pet friendly area. Thanks for a great spot to relax and unwind!

The location of this property is great. It is on the west side of the beach road. When you look out the large front window you see the beach dunes and the beautiful sunrise.
It boasts a very roomy kitchen/dining/family area in the front of the home.
There is a very nice front porch with a gazebo over it for lounging.
At first glance, the home appears to be clean. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the kitchen floor was very sticky. When I attempted to use a Swiffer duster, it just dragged so I had to use a wet rag towel we brought attached to the Swiffer and mop the floors. They were filthy. It appears the cleaning crew (for which you pay a hefty fee) sweep/vacuum but are not mopping. And they are not sweeping/vacuuming under beds, side tables, dressers and the like, EVER. There was such a build up of dust that made it sticky, it was gross. The master bedroom bed is supported by concrete blocks and bricks and the accumulation of dust and debris under the bed made it very hard to feel comfortable sleeping. I did not check under the other bedroom beds and only discovered the issues under the master bedroom bed after trying to figure out why a side table lamp was not working. Upon removing the bedsheets before departure, we found there is a large yellowish stain on the mattress pad, which grossed us out even more.
There are what you call "dirty" roaches in the kitchen. Being born and raised on the beach of Central Florida, I know roaches and these were dirty roaches. The kind that come out at night and scatter when you turn the light on in the morning. Say hello to the roach when you grab your cup of coffee, they'll be sitting right next to it.
The pictures of the home on VRBO must have been taken quite awhile ago. The kitchen cabinets are now painted white and have already begun to show wear. The nice looking washer/dryer combo has been replaced with an apartment sized washer/dryer combo. Any upgrades to this home appear to be handyman completed and not professionally done. The one saving grace for me was the bathrooms were clean (although I did find a roach in one the night before we left).
I did reach out to the management company to tell them how the house was, though I did not expect, nor receive, any response.
I give it two stars for people who want their surroundings to be clean. Anyone who doesn't care about that would find this place a great getaway.

What a cool, beachy house. 30 seconds and you are walking the beach. All the amenities you need. Coffee on the front porch watching the sunrise was perfect. And the host responds within minutes. Very attentive! I appreciate that. Grocery store is less than 10 minutes away. The neighborhood is very quiet. Mostly just a few bikes driving by. My ideal spot for a getaway.

My husband and I often rent VRBO homes; Oceanwalk at American Beach is on our must-return list of places to go and stay! This house is located across the street from the beach with beautiful ocean views. It was perfect for fun and relaxation. The property is pet friendly, so we were able to bring our two babies as well.
The house was beautifully decorated and included everything we needed, including two coffee makers. The kitchen was open to the family room with windows overlooking the beach and ocean. The home was immaculate; the beds and furniture were also extremely comfortable. The house has a large open deck giving beautiful views of the ocean. The beach was only a two-minute walk from the house.
In addition, the management was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful property. We are looking forward to our next visit.
