This is our second year at the Butler House. It is close to attractions, as well as to town. The house is great for a group with multiple sleeping spaces and areas to hangout. The main floor is open so those cooking can socialize with everyone else. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, plates/silverware and appliances. We can't wait to come back next year.

We had a great stay at the Butler house. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Only 15 minutes from door to Saddleback parking lot. Plenty of room for myself, my brother & sister-in-law, our 3 young adult children and our pup. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here with another family of four (so 8 of us in total) and had so much space for each of us. The house is exactly as pictured and was very clean and comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. The drive to the mountain was under 15 minutes. Will absolutely be looking to rent again next time we are up in Rangeley.

Very nice place and well equipped in a lovely setting and we all really liked the house.
Three negatives—-1) no curtains or shades on bedroom windows and really need some to keep out light in am. 2) could not use electric heaters in basement (we did use those beds) when they were turned on they blew the circuits even if we were not using the stove or other major power usage. 3) mattresses on pull outs were pretty bad, even good mattress pads would help.
Biggest thing is to get curtains or shades on upstairs windows.

Only comment is that we did need to put 2 teenagers in the basement beds and it was cold down there and when plugged in space heaters we blew a breaker while cooking in the kitchen, could not run both at the same time. But overall…perfect space and location for our extended family Thanksgiving get away. Would definitely rent again. Thank you!

The basement smelled musty and the girls said the beds were very uncomfortable.
The house overall was what we expected.
The girls were putting on makeup on the bed upstairs and it broke! I was there no funny business and we are not that large.

We loved the Butler house. We are 3 families w/ teenagers who do an annual ski trip. We have stayed in a lot of different places, but this one met all of our needs!!! Plenty of room for all , a great space for the teens. We couldn't have been happier. Close to mountain and downtown. We will defintely be back.

My whole experience with our stay was amazing! From the beautiful home to the amazing view I couldn't have asked for more. The house had everything we needed and it's so cozy. We will be back next year. The saddest part of leaving was our black lab literally wouldn't come off the porch to get in the truck lol. She did not want to leave either. She had to be picked up and put in the truck. Thank you Blais family for allowing us to borrow your beautiful get away.

My whole experience with our stay was amazing! From the beautiful home to the amazing view I couldn't have asked for more. The house had everything we needed and it's so cozy. We really had a great Vacation thanks to this house... the rental agency was so accommodating! It was tough during the covid pandemic... places were listed as open and they weren’t... however we just went with the flow!! The house was wonderful and spacious!! Excellent stay
We have a large family and this house was an excellent fit for all of us with 3 bedrooms and additional beds on the lower floor. All kitchen supplies/amenities were there as stated in the listing. We brought extra TP and paper towels, due to a previous experience, however this house was well stocked :)

Evertone had a great time, only draw back was no WiFi, but we worked w/ it. Weather was actually to warm. House was fine.

Maine is our new favorite place
Our snowmobiling group, plans at least one big trip a year. This is our first time to the Rangeley area. Everyone enjoyed the house, its comfortable with plenty of room to gather in the kitchen. The kitchen is well appointed with cooking utensils, so we never needed anything. We loved having the garage, keeping the sleds out of the weather and ice melted out of the skids, that was awesome. Everyone agreed Maine is our new favorite place, even with the limited snow the riding was great. We will be back for sure.

This was our second year
This was our second year renting through Morton and Furbish and our stay was again excellent. They make everything so easy and always accommodate our needs. This house was different than last years but again was perfect for our group. The only problem we had was the propane for the gas stove in the living room ran out and the basement was extremely cold and had no source of heat. We had four guest sleeping in the basement so the lack of heat was unfortunate. Other than that, our stay was great and we would definitely rent through this company again!

The Gerald
4 brothers were in town for a weekend of fly fishing. The Gerald was a perfect home for our trip. Clean, comfortable, spacious and appropriately priced.
The Morton & Furbish Agency was extremely pleasant and helpful from the initial contact through to check-out.

Great house with plenty of room.
This house had plenty of room for our family of 6, the grounds were cut and the house was nice and clean.
Very close to Rangeley center which made it ideal for sight seeing.
I would suggest to anyone staying you will not be disappointed.
