Perfect 10/10

Such a beautiful cottage in a beautiful village. We stayed to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge and it was everything we needed for a perfect stay. Nice quiet location, very comfortable bed and beautifully decorated and clean. The village has lovely places to eat out and a spar and little supermarket to buy food. Also want to add that the owner, Mandy, kept in contact with me the whole way through our stay and was very accommodating to all our questions and needs, very kind, so thank you very much!

Beautiful cottage with lovely furnishings. Very cosy and comfortable. Has everything you need and more. Super clean and appealing. The little courtyard is lovely to sit in. Great location, just a few minutes walk to center. Mandy the host is fantastic at communicating and checking everything is up to standard. She also is really helpful and accommodating, giving us suggestions of where to eat and things to do.

Me and the family will be definitely using this property the next time we are up these ways.

Where to start….the location was beautiful with the cottage overlooking the Church grounds. When we got inside the cottage we found that Mandy had bought some essentials like milk, bread etc which may be a small thing but it’s the little things that make the difference. The property was spotless and the shower was great as well. I could really go on and it’s the best place I’ve found on this site.

Perfect location of a lovely little cottage.

This is such a lovely little cottage situated in the heart of the village but on a very quiet lane overlooking the magnificent village church. It had everything that we needed and Mandy ( the owner) provided us with bread,milk,butter, biscuits jam, tea, coffee etc for our arrival. In addition the bottle of Prosecco she had chilled in the fridge was a lovely idea for our first night. We used the log fire which made such a cosy evening for us. There are lots of bars, lovely shops and eating places close by. All in all we could not fault the location and facilities No 2 provided. Mandy contacted us before our arrival and before our departure to check all had been satisfactory which we thought was a nice touch too. It is easy to park temporarily outside the cottage to drop of bags etc. Parking was then free on the road about 3 minute walk . We had one amazing meal at the Pheasant Inn which was a 5 minute drive away.

A relaxing and enjoyable stay in one of our favourite places.

The location was excellent right in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage had loads of character and was very cosy and welcoming. The host, Mandy, was attentive and wanted to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous area. Excellent location

This is a beautiful period property very well equipped with modern facilities, clean and tidy. The area is amazing the cottage is in a great location, literally a minute or two walk to the main street. Mandy the owner is very attentive and helpful, she left us bread, milk, coffee, tea, butter all the essentials that we would need on arrival that saved us carting them with us and the keys are easily accessed. Information spot on regarding parking. Very nice touches, folder in the property with all the information needed (inc WiFi code) plus places to eat and a monthly Kirby Lonsdale magasine to find out what is going on in the town. Beautiful place to stay we will be booking again.

Cottage was lovely - quaint and nicely decorated. Had everything you could possibly need. Superb location - 2 min walk from restuarants and shops. Mandy was very attentive - excellent communication. Very enjoyable stay

Stairs to upper levels could be difficult to negotiate if mobility is an issue!! To be expected in an older property.

I love returning to this cottage as much as I can. So relaxing and peacefu and just so beautifull

Excellent communication from the owner. Fab cottage in a great location. So comfy cosy and homely and everything you need. We've been coming here for a few years now and the moment I walk in its feels like my second home. All facilities in kitchen is great as the owner makes great use of kitchen and I highly rate the slow cooker as a great bonus, whilst out walking. . The personal touches are so lovely providing. Bread milk tea coffee Tec butter and even prosecco. So if you arrive late you have the staples there which is very generous. The location is so fab everything is so on hand and very peaceful no traffic to disturb you and waking up to birdsong is delightful. I will be returning. !!I time and time again

Return trip and loved it as much as the first time.

The cleanliness and home from home feel. The courtesy call from the host. The essentials left in the fridge, Milk, Butter and Prosecco. Also a loaf, tea, coffee, sugar and jams. The bathroom is fully stocked too. It’s the little things that count. Such a lovely clean and homely place to stay near to the town.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed for our weekend away. We will definately be booking again.

Mandy the host was so attentive to detail and made sure we had everything we needed. Cottage was located perfectly for easy access to the shops, pubs and places to eat. Really relaxing place to stay for a great getaway.

Heaven in a cottage!

I stayed here with my 3 grown up children last weekend, when the weather was tropical and we absolutely loved the cottage. Perfect Location Beautiful decor and all mod cons Beds were THE most comfortable EVER. It truly won't be our last trip to stay here. Mandy, the owner has thought of everything. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cottage with us. We will be back soon!

I can honestly say, there was nothing at all that I would change. It was beyond perfect.

We loved the location, we loved the friendly host and loved the layout of the rooms. We did a road trip and stayed at 4 places and this was our favourite.

Excellent host, beautiful cottage and location is great .

The host is very attentive and was happy to answer any questions. I like customer care and the host is excellent. The location is great for a base for walking, tourist attractions like Scar Cave and Wensleydale. The cottage is well stocked for kitchen equipment and bathroom for towels and toiletries. Our bed was comfortable and so was our guests. Who loved the attic room. The cottage is very clean and well looked after. Nice decor and quirky signs to mind your head. We will be going again and look forward to our next visit. Stayed 2 nights wished it was longer.
