Plato's

It was in a great location. The breakfasts were excellent and the room was warm and cosy.

There was a lot of noise outside by some of the local patrons who were smoking and stayed outside talking very loudly until past 12 o’clock. They were in the alley connected to the hotel and it seemed to boom off the walls. We were not the only people who were kept awake by it. It’s a lively hotel and the noise inside was absolutely fine but local patrons need to be reminded that people are sleeping in the hotel and to keep the noise down or come back inside.

We really enjoyed our stay - the staff were lovely and the food was great!

The Platos street sign was right outside our room - it creaks in the wind!! There is a white blind in the hallway of the room. It would be good if it was a darker colour as it lets light in at night which means you have to shut the bedroom door but it’s a small niggle!

Beautiful property in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale. Staff all very welcoming and service exceptional throughout. Breakfast also amazing.

Nothing

Very helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.

Noisy late at night (foul language coming from a neighbouring property, something the staff is aware of) and in the early morning (deliveries). Rather warm, so we had to leave the window open). Duvet too thick for our liking. A problem with the kitchen meant we couldn't eat there as planned in the evening, and then we had to go out for breakfast on our second morning.
