About this house rental
Situated in Omaha, this attractive house for $199 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to our home! Our family has lived in this house for almost twenty years, we re so excited to share our home with guests! Trevor is only a call or text away, so please let him know if there is anything we can do to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The Space-A large and cozy two story craftsman, our house is located in the heart of beautiful Field Club Omaha. Open main floor plan, updated renovation to kitchen and living room perfectly blending the old and new. There are four separate bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and plenty of space to spread out with over 7 couches. Guest Access- The entire house is free to use except for the old section of the basement which we lock up and use for storage. We also keep the garage locked. Other than that, please feel free to explore the rest of our home! Help yourselves to food in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathrooms. Interactions with Guests- Minimal interactions with guests, we do not want to be intrusive at all. However, we live just a minutes away, so we are available if needed. Other things to note- Please park in the back of the house, we would appreciate keeping everyone off the street. It is preferred if guests enter through the back door. There is a parking area big enough for three cars in the back by the garage, accessible through the alley. Neighborhood Overview- Field Club is a neighborhood located in the heart of Midtown Omaha, minutes from downtown, Midtown Crossing, and Blackstone districts, and a lovely walk from many parks and trails. Each street is decorated with a canopy of trees, and victorian porches. It is a beautifully walkable neighborhood filled with lots of character and charm. Getting around- Centrally located - a quick drive to any area of town, with the interstate just a few blocks to the east. 5 minutes from downtown Omaha and the Old Market. 5-7 minutes from the zoo as well.

We enjoyed the different spaces in the house. There were no instructions for the entertainment system and the stairs were not level and very slick. I would suggest a handrail coming down from the attic, we had a fall down the attic steps on the last day.

Found linen for futon bed in a different room in closet after communicating with owner twice. There was a basket full of dirty bed linen (from previous renters?) in the bottom of closet and futon linen wadded up in cubby. Owner did apologize for the delay on getting the towels to us. The inside of refrigerator was dirty but the rest of the kitchen was clean. The top floor bedroom was warm even with the window air conditioner and a fan. However, the grandkids had a lot of fun sleeping together in the large room with several beds!

We had pretty high expectations for this place for the price we paid but ended up completely disappointed. This home is not kept up (dryer didn't work so no laundry which wasn't explained until just before check-in and wasn't solved at all during our stay, no towels for showers when we checked in after long day of flying, multiple bedroom doors didn't latch/close, doorknobs fell off, no working lights in the SUPER dark stairway with uneven steps, and many more issues). We were bummed by this experience and wouldn't suggest other families rent this property until significant upgrades are made so you can enjoy your experience.

He double-booked us and tried to cancel as we tried to check in. We eventually got into the uncleaned house, thanks to his mom, and we received a partial refund. The house is very good for the price, and a great neighborhood. But beware if he does not respond to your messagges.

This house was perfect for our family! There was plenty of room for all the extended family that was meeting up for a couple days to enjoy Omaha. The location was great for the activities we were doing during our stay. The hosts were responsive to anything we needed.

This property was a great location and located in a beautiful neighborhood. There was a park nearby where we walked our dog. My friends and I stayed in the house the 2nd weekend of March Madness and the kitchen/family room was perfect to watch the games in and hang out. The bathrooms were newly renovated and nice.
We were a little disappointed by the bedrooms and the beds. The beds were small and the bed frames were worn and old. The dining room, living room, and attic were dusty and we found trash from prior occupants in different areas. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

This property was a great location and located in a beautiful neighborhood. There was a park nearby where we walked our dog. The home was mostly clean and in a safe neighborhood. No wifi connection or password was provided, we had to ask for this. The upstairs shower/bathtub was not usable - the drain was so plugged the contents bubbled back up and the shower curtain continued to fall down. The owner did offer to call a plumber but our stay was short so we just used the other tiny shower, all 6 of us. There was a note in the guest book stating the tub wasn't draining from January - but it hadn't been addressed. The garbage container cabinet did not work, so the garbage was always out in the open unless you used a chair to keep it closed. The dishwasher soap dispenser was broken - there was a threat of fines if you didn't put clean dishes away in the cabinet but the dishwasher didn't actually function properly which was why dishes would be dirty. Lastly, there were mice in the attic ceiling. The attic is advertised as sleeping quarters for 4-5 people. This area was not nearly as clean as the rest of the house (needed to be vacuumed) and the mice/creatures in the attic were audible all day and night. We texted the owner of this on the way out and never got so much as an apology for this situation. Definitely would not recommend to stay unless all of these things were addressed of which I have no indication that is the case.

We booked a few days out before our stay. The manager was very accommodating when we needed to come in a day early. Our stay was great. We had plenty of room to have a few people over and be able to visit. Thank you Trevor for everything!

Great property - easy to get to Zoo, our destination.
Property owner communicated well and often, almost too often. Not used to that much communication. Appreciated owner's willingness to make us comfortable. Lots of stairs - we used 5 beds, one futon and two couches - so worked well for our family. Thanks tons.

Recently we attended the wedding of our youngest child. All of our children are grown and all of us live in very different parts of the country and haven't seen each other for 15 years as a group. We all got to stay together in a very spacious, lovely house with plenty of room for talking, adult cocktails, children playing games or watching movies, and others taking naps or sleeping. It was cozy and clean. While we could have cooked family dinners we didn't as we had rehearsal dinner and a beautiful reception buffet as well as eating out one night as a huge family group. We really enjoyed the house and found it to be just what was needed. Two and a half baths allowed everyone to shower and no one had to wait for a bathroom. The house was supplied with linens and utensils sufficient for our needs and the needs of most other people. The price of the house was very economical for us as well. Staying in the house allowed us to have other wedding guests we hadn't seen in a long time over as well without disturbing other guests in a hotel. We always travel with our dog and the house allows pets. It was great. The owner was very accommodating though we didn't need anything more than we had. There is a good coffee maker and a large refrigerator/freezer. We would stay here again in hot minute. Actually, we plan to do just that if we can plan to bring the family again for a vacation. Great place.
