In November 2024 we saw RDG being built. It looked nice and in general still does. It has a nice restaurant and pool, but it's the detail that makes the difference. On arrival we were given a standard/short stay room, not the room we had booked. We were assured we would be 'upgraded (their term)' moved to our booked room the following day. We didn't unpack, but the move took 2 days. Our 'booked' room was an improvement. It was a nice looking room, a good size, enough storage, plenty of international power points, fan and a/c, fridge, kettle, TV, a good hot water shower. We were given 2 bottles of water daily. They don't provide beach towels only 'pool' towels.
RDG is let down by it's cleaning/maintenance. Cleaning is done on request, that's ok. Unfortunately the young boys employed to carry out the cleaning have not been sufficiently trained for this task. Our shower glass was badly water stained, the mirrors and tv screen not cleaned. Other areas needing attention - fridge cleaning, tea tray cleaning. Get this right and it would be a great stay.

I needed a place for the day due to a late flight. The hotel was a good price and located close to the Main Street and had a pool.
There is a lot of sand and red dust in Agonda from the beach and roads. The room could have done with a better wipe around to remove this dust from mirrors and surfaces etc

Approach ROAD was NOT AS PER ACCEPTED
Obviously , the Approach road , Parking , n the hiding nature of the Manager . WE NEVER MET HIM
