In the interior of Norway you will find this vacation home with a beautiful view over the peaceful and idyllic lake Skumsjøen. Here you can swim, fish and paddle in quiet forest lakes. There is a wide network of paths and trails around Skumsjøen through unspoiled nature. Take a tour on foot, by bicycle or in winter on skis. If you are looking for an outdoor vacation with wilderness activities, this is the place for you! Not far away (approx. 15 km) is the town of Gjøvik on Mjøsa, Norway's largest inland lake. From here you can take an exciting tour on the paddle steamer "Skibladner", also called Mjøsa's white swan, built in 1856. After an hour's drive you will reach the town of Jevnaker at the southern tip of Lake Randsfjorden, where you can visit the strange art museum Kistefoss with "The Twist". You can also visit the glassworks Hadeland Glassverk with its unique collections and sale of traditional glassware. You can also make a day trip to the Norwegian capital Oslo. Welcome to Oslo!
