About this house rental

Located in Thermopolis, this charming house for $100 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Furnished with a western decor and many antiques, yet has modern amenities. Close to downtown, but in a wonderful old neighborhood. A great escape to the old west. I will provide my personal phone number after booking. Please leave us a message if you don't get an immediate response. I am a volunteer fireman, and on many of our wildfires we don't have cell phone service. This is a very nice and friendly neighborhood. It is only 4 blocks from most of the restaurants and the downtown area and only a few minutes drive from the hot pools and dinosaur museum. Parking is allowed on the street and is free. There is usually lots of parking space as the neighbors on both sides have driveways and they park there. There is a laundry room just off the kitchen. If you didn't remember detergent there is usually some there. There are also 2 barbeque grills on site that you are invited to use outside. Enjoy the shaded yard under the huge trees that are over a hundred years old. This house is half of a duplex, the other side is also a vacation home listed as cozy house. Both are 2 bedrooms with a single bathroom. It is in a an older established neighborhood. The neighbors on each side are friendly, and they have 2 adorable tiny white dogs that are the official greeters that love to be petted. This is a great community with warm and friendly people. Enjoy wonder meals at our local restaurants, or cook your own in the fully stocked kitchen. You can soak in the hot pools, go fish in our blue ribbon river, see one of the world's best dinosaur museums, or go hiking in the beautiful countryside. Enjoy your stay. It is a very short walk to the downtown area, only 4 or 5 blocks. Most of the restaurants are located there, it is only a few minutes drive to the hot springs and dinosaur museum.

This property was not exceptional and we would rate it below average. We almost left because of the lack of curb appeal and spiders all around the front door and filthy windows. When we got inside they did have most things clean but this place need a total redo to be even listed on VRBO. We are seasoned travelers and this was such a disappointing experience. While the owner gave us directions for the wifi what was available at the locations was out of date and the instructions should have been modified. We appreciated the grill which was clean but the outside of the location was terrible -- grass was not mowed, the front door was full of spiders and terribly dirty and the house was leaning downhill. While they made some upgrades it needs so much more to be included in VRBO listings. Closet doors were impossible to open/close and the duplex location was less than ideal. At 10pm a tenant came to unit 2 and slabbed doors and was very loud for the next 30 minutes. We would not recommend this location for families without many updates.

Our family needed a small 2-bedroom home in a nice area for our 2- night stay. We got that and more. The home was a perfect fit for our needs and Jerry was always available for a quick answer to our questions. It was a great stay.

Pleasant little town, amazing dinosaur museum, great ice cream shop. The apartment had a very good bed. Renovations are well underway--nice flooring, nice updated bathroom.

Our second time visiting this property, and just as delighted with our experience as the first trip! Cozy property close to Downtown Thermopolis and the hot springs, easy drive to Riverton, Cody or even to Yellowstone. Thoughtfully appointed with all you need and great communication if you do have any questions. Will definitely book again, confidently recommended property and hosts!! :)

We had a great stay in the bunkhouse! The place was clean and comfortable and on a quiet residential street that is walking distance to mainstreet. We really appreciated that it was stocked with ample towels and that the kitchen had all the essentials. Jerry was a great goat and look forward to another stay!

We fish and hunt Thermopolis every year. This was our first stay here at this great little house. It will definitely be on our list for next year! The house has everything you need for your stay. Comfy beds, quiet neighborhood, super clean and welcoming. Jerry was incredibly easy to work with. Thanks Jerry. Loved it! We will be back!

We decided to break up our week long camping trip and stayed here for one night. It had all the comforts of home and was essentially the same cost as a hotel. It was nice to have two bedrooms, a full kitchen and an opportunity to do laundry! Jerry was very easy to contact and quick to respond. Great little pit stop on the way to Yellowstone.
