The small, two-storey "Residenza Ai Ronchi" is located in a quiet and sunny position about 1 km from the historical center of Germignga and about 1.4 km from the lake and the beach. The highlight of the complex is the beautiful garden swimming pool (about 10.5 x 3.5 m x 2 m) with Liegewiese within the enclosed property. The 3-room duplex is located on the 1st floor. First floor and has a living space of approx. 75 m² and a free wireless internet access. This attractive duplex offers 2 friendly bathrooms and 2 balconies with some fantastic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. In about 5 km away is the renowned resort Luino with its famous weekly market, from where you can explore the lake by boat. In addition, the charming hinterland attracts with its charming small towns, where you can still get an idea of the original life in this area. You can park your car inside the enclosed property or in the garage belonging to the apartment. This is a lovely apartment, very practical with fabulous views over the lake, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings watching the twinkling lights around the lake.The garage was useful for our bikes, though the road is so steep I had to walk up it!We were lucky with hot weather and made good use of the lovely swimming pool. Nearby Luino has several good lakeside restaurants and a big supermarket.Our first impression was not good as the person due to let us in said she would be an hour rather than the 30 minutes (fair enough) but then was a further 45 minutes late with no further communication, saying she had other clients. We were tired having driven 7 hours and made sure we arrived at the specified time. There was no apology or smile and though not unfriendly, we did not feel warmly welcomed or that we could call on her if we needed anything. On departure, we were expecting her at 10am as agreed, but when we rang at 10.20, we were told to leave the keys in the mailbox (we couldn't have done this before, as we didn't even know which one it was). She is really in the wrong job!
