About this house rental
#BolivarPlace is within walking distance of downtown Denton and TWU (also about 1 mile from UNT). We offer 2 large rooms with queen size beds with double doors opening to the balcony. Included is an additional cozy living/media area with a 50 inch TV (Hulu, Netflix, AmazonTV), fresh roasted coffee, microwave and small refrigerator (no full kitchen). There is also a 40" Roku TV in the Cypress Room. This rental is only the upstairs of our house and the owners live downstairs. The entrance is private and so you can come and go as you desire. #BolivarPlace Our queen size beds have plenty of blankets. Soft towels. A balcony to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. We have enhanced our cleaning and disinfecting practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our unique entrance to the 2nd story allows for entry/exit without contact with the homeowners. Neighborhood: Charming, relaxed atmosphere within close walking distance to downtown (6 blocks), TWU (5 blocks), UNT (1 mile) and Quaker park (6 blocks). Large selection of great restaurants, local craft breweries and shopping nearby. Many nights you can hear live music coming from the square or other venues from our balcony. FYI: There is a train that runs through downtown Denton that you will hear occasionally. If you are a light sleeper, we suggest staying in a hotel by Razor Ranch. In compliance with the City of Denton Development Code: -No parties are allowed on the premises by short term guests -A maximum of 5 guest and 2 vehicles are allowed

We had a family wedding in Denton, which is over 5 hours away for us. This was an excellent place for our family to stay while we were in town. Comfortable, clean, and convienient. Very nice!

We came to Denton for my sisters college graduation. The house is super close to downtown Denton and is definitely walkable (safe). I am a terrible sleeper when I travel, but I slept like a baby and so did my sisters. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. With all the close amazing restaurants in Denton, we didn’t miss that there wasn’t a full kitchen. The house is decorated beautifully with all the art. The owners gave perfect instructions to the house and we got settled in without issue.
Thank you for allowing us to stay! We would definitely stay there again when visiting my sister in Denton.

The Bolivar Place was amazing. It was absolutely perfect for myself and my parents for the weekend. We were able to walk to the square and to multiple bars and restaurants. Cheryl decorates with her very own paintings and they are beautiful. I actually bought a couple and my brother bought one also. She is very talented and accommodating. I will not stay anywhere else when I visit Denton after finding this gem!

Very clean property, extra towels, attention to detail. Beautiful wall art. Location perfect and easy to access the square. Quiet property. Things to note... It is the second floor of a house with a private entry. When you enter the front door, there is a hallway with other doors and then your space is up the stairs. The downstairs doors appear to be closed. However, once you have entered the house and walked up the stairs, there is no additional doors or locks (beyond bedroom doors and bathroom door). All rooms have fans, no private control of the a/c. Would recommend.

We brought fruit, yogurt, and muffins for breakfast, and ate other meals out, so we had no need of a full kitchen. The bedrooms were well-appointed and lovely. The only drawback, given the temps were over 100 this weekend, was the inability to adjust the air conditioning. My bedroom was a little warm at night, but an extra fan would have probably been enough to make it more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

When visiting Denton, this is the perfect pad to land with the family. It’s close to the square, near UNT, and convenient to many points of interest. The host were very communicative and welcoming! It’s a great layout, with plenty of room for you and your guest to separately retreat to. We loved the decor and the many beautiful paintings throughout! Generally everything was fine. It was a step back into 70’s chic. It was retro, artistic and art everywhere. Only knock is if there was controls for AC could not find them. However once all the Ceiling Fans had been on a whole it was fine

We loved staying here! I'm from Denton and was coming back for a weekend of girl time with my friends, we had 5 of us stay there and were very comfortable in the space. The beds are so comfortable and the bedrooms are very large, we all hung out in the shared space comfortably but if we were watching TV or something we would have felt cramped in there. The owner lives down stairs, we met her and she was nice and friendly, we didn't see her again and it wasn't an issue having them there. I will def. rent here again and I would feel safe renting here by myself and walking this area / neighborhood. We drove to the square but if you're up for it, it's close enough to walk to the market or downtown. I wouldn't walk to TWU or UNT campus, that would be a better drive.

We enjoyed our stay. The space was clean, mostly comfortable, and mostly quiet. The space could be improved by replacing the futon couch with a more comfortable couch, and cleaning or replacing the shower curtain. The owners had a religious gathering one evening that was fairly noisy, and it was hard for us to get our car out once the driveway was filled with cars. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Walking distance to the downtown area means it is almost a mile. Our group could do this distance but I could see some may not be able to easily. We will definitely stay here again when in Denton!
