My husband and I stayed with our two sons. The condo had everything we need and was steps away from a great beach. I love the fact that this vacation was easy - from the clear communications with Wilda to the well-appointed condo.
And there are so many things to do in Puerto Rico - this condo location offers a nice in-between to San Juan and Fajardo. We at dinner and enjoyed Old San Juan and also took a snorkeling trip from Fajardo, hiked through the rainforest in Arecibo, and relaxed by the beach. Thank you, Wilda!

Paint chops are falling off the outside roof of the deck, onto the deck and furniture. There was standing water on half of the deck, not sure what from. It finally dried up the day we left. Beach was very private which was perfect. I recommend updating the information booklet which is 12 years old. It would have been nice to have a list of recommended restaurants.

These accommodations were perfect for our family of three. It was nicely furnished and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The best part was its close proximity to the beach. We loved being able to go down the stairs (third floor, no elevator, but not a problem for us) and walk a very short distance to the beach. During the weekdays, we practically had the beach to ourselves. Wilda, the host, also provides plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and coolers, which was very convenient. We noticed that the beach filled up more on the weekends, but that is to be expected, and we still didn't have a problem finding a spot for our family.
The complex is gated and has security that we would see around and we always felt safe there.
If staying at this property, I would highly suggest getting a rental car. It was in good driving proximity (5-10 minutes) to many small restaurants and we enjoyed finding different places to eat and try local food, but there really isn't anywhere close to walk to. We booked two excursions out of Fajardo, which was only about a 20-30 minute drive away, and we explored El Yunque Rainforest which is also only about a 20 minute drive away.
Wilda is a very responsive host and whenever I messaged him, he responded kindly and promptly.
I would highly recommend this property for parties of 2-4, and if we are ever back in Puerto Rico, we would definitely stay here again.

The property was amazing. The beach and pool were just steps away. The only draw back is that it’s so far away from San Juan but if you just want to enjoy yourself in peace, this is the perfect place.

The unit was true to the description in VRBO’s listing. The location of the unit was great as it provided easy and quick access to the beach and pool. Wilda’s provision of beach towels, chairs and other beach accessories was very thoughtful and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and all appliances were modern and in good operating condition. The a/c units kept the condo comfortable. The mattresses in the second bedroom may need updating. The grounds are well kept and pool well maintained. The beach was clean and the water was clear and warm.
Over all a wonderful vacation and comfortable stay. I would definitely revisit and stay in this unit and recommend to friends.

Nice condo with all the necessities. Private beach is incredible. Not far from local bars and restaurants but would recommend having a car. Condo is in a great location if you plan on spending some time in El Younique and works well for two couples or a family.

We loved the proximity to the beach! The condo was very clean and well maintained and located far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to everything. We loved it and had a great time. Wilda is a helpful host.

Apartment is located on the 3rd floor. Great place to stay, close to restaurants, supermarkets, stores and places to visit. Apartment’s description is just like in the pictures. Beds are very comfortable. Owner is very attentive and replies to messages very quickly. The balcony has a great view of the beach and el Yunque. The apartment is very well stocked with beach chairs, coolers, beach towels. The kitchen also has everything you need and much more (some spices and condiments, coffee filters, cooking spray, aluminum foil just to name a few). We lost power a couple of times, typical in PR, but there’s a battery backup which comes in very handy to power anything. The property is very secured with a front gate and security guard booth. Also there’s a locked back gate to the beach. In a nutshell all you need to bring with you is your suitcase. We really had a great time and definitely recommend this property.

Everything was great. Very clean and just as it looks in the pictures. Host was very friendly and will get back to you right away if you need anything. Also, There is also a small generator in case you lose power (which is typical on the island). We lost power for maybe an hour on two mornings and we’re still able to enjoy our morning coffee looking at the ocean with no interruption! Also a great thing to have if you have a medical device that requires electricity! I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Beautiful area and so so close to the beach. The showers weren't my favorite. It rained quite a bit and flooded a lot in the main bedroom. Owner was very nice and quick at responding.

Rio Grande is a perfect location for those who want to be close to San Juan and El Yunque at the same time. This apartment is in an area of a series of gated communities. Otherwise the neighborhood is run down in such oceanfront location. The private beach here is a plus with turquoise warm water, so clear that you can see your feet. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, no elevator. There is a huge swimming pool and a kiddie pool in the complex with a playground. There were not many people staying here during our week, I guess because this is low season, hurricane season,
kids already go back to school?....so everything was pretty much private to us. The apartment has everything that you would need for a short vacation. It is an older apartment with updated furniture. I wish the owner would update the bathrooms too, especially the bathtubs. Wilda was very responsive. Highly recommended!

Clean comfortable condo in a great location!
Really enjoyed Wilda’s place in Bosque Del Mar! Her unit is in the building closest to the beach which was what we were hoping for. The condo was very clean and well stocked, and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the nice table and chairs on the balcony. Everything is as shown in the beautiful photos. We enjoyed the beach and swimming pool, and Wilda provided a cooler so we could easily take drinks and snacks to the beach. It was also great to have a full size washer and dryer in the unit.
It is a secure complex with a gate and security guard and it felt like a very safe area. Although secure, it was not difficult to go in and out like some other places we have stayed. Wilda provides a gate opener and it was easy. There is a key for beach access. The area is quiet and beautiful.
Before visiting we weren’t sure of the location, but Bosque del Mar was perfect. We went to El Yunque two days and it was a short drive from Bosque del Mar. We also did tours out of Fajardo two days, and found this location convenient to get to our charters. It is also convenient to the Loquillo kiosks, and there are other restaurants nearby such as Richie’s with beautiful views and Rico Pan for breakfast. We enjoyed having the Wyndham so close and had dinner there one night. It is easy to access the Wyndham property for dining or going to the casino. Overall a great property! We very much appreciated staying here!

Property is well situated close to Luquillo and northeast Puerto Rico. Easy drive to visit San Juan. Unit is clean and well stocked with things a visitor may need. Super responsive and friendly host.
*nicer beaches are nearby but this is a footnote and not reflective of our great stay!

Great stay at Bosque del Mar
We had a wonderful stay at Bosque del Mar! The property was just as described by the owner. The condo was very clean and comfortable, with pretty much anything you would need for cooking and cleaning. It was very close to the beach entrance and the pool was clean and refreshing. Wilda was quick to respond to the couple of questions we had during our stay. Thank you for allowing us to share your great vacation destination!!

We had an excellent stay in Wilda's property for 6 nights. Everything was true to the website description and Wilda was extremely responsive and helpful, both before we booked our stay and all throughout
We have a 10 month old and Wilda even provided us with a pack and play and a high chair, which was a huge surprise. When we arrived, we saw that she had bought a new pack and play sheet for us and a baby blanket. How nice is that?

Wilda’s place is in such a great location. A few yards to a beautiful beach, a couple of miles to El Yunque, 30 minutes from the airport, an easy drive into San Juan, and close to many restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Definitely get a rental car and explore the island—it’s beautiful! We drove to a Toro Verde adventure park and the place is insane!

Perfect location
Wilda’s place is in such a great location. A few yards to a beautiful beach, a couple of miles to El Yunque, 30 minutes from the airport, an easy drive into San Juan, and close to many restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Definitely get a rental car and explore the island—it’s beautiful! We drove to a Toro Verde adventure park and the place is insane!
