The property was nice and access to the water was amazing. We are so used to being in Onset and in walkable distance we did miss that but overall we have a good week of relaxing.

Our family (kids from 6m - almost 14) had a delightful stay at this home. We were able to wake up every morning and go straight down the steps to start playing in the water. It was the perfect setting to kayak and swim and dig and look at crabs and watch birds and other wildlife. We also were able to learn about south coast terrapin turtles as there were a few protected nests on the property and the kids were able to ask the project interns lots of questions when they checked on them (the interns did not bother us at all, we noticed them from afar and got curious) The home itself was perfect for our needs- the grassy lawn was great for when we were exhausted from swimming and the outdoor shower had great water pressure. While quarters were a little tight with our large family, it was very well layed out and every inch was made useful- the two bathrooms helped a lot and everyone had space. A dishwasher made meal clean up super easy and the music system throughout was great while cooking and playing cards into the evening. Every night was a phenomenal sunset. The host Kim was above and beyond wonderful and was able to answer questions before we arrived.

My kids are 3 and 4 and this is just what me and my husband needed! The beachfront access is perfect for kids, all ages. Right in front of the home, you can keep an eye on the kids 24/7 from the porch. The water is still so no dangers of waves or anything. The home was perfect and spacious for a family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids) and there was space to fit another couple. The upstairs loft space would probably just be just for kids not for adults. Location Is not directly in cape cod, but we made day trips out to Provincetown and Hyannis. Provincetown was about 1.5hr drive but it didn’t bother us and was soooooooooo worth the trip and we took the ferry to the tip and felt like we were on another world! One thing, we did have to bring out own linens like sheets and covers which was sort of a pain , while it was cleaner way, since we were traveling with kids, we had enough baggage and last thing I wanted to do was more Laundry when I got home. the home It was simply perfect and we will 100% be back. Also I never slept so well in my life. Don’t Know if it was the king mattress or the fresh air but we all slept very well!

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful, spacious home in a quiet secluded area. Having the small private beach right there was perfect for our 2 yr old grandson who loved digging in the sand and watching the fiddler crabs. The adults enjoyed the convenience of being able to kayak and paddleboard right from the beach. The spacious back deck allowed us to watch the gorgeous sunsets and we also enjoyed watching the ospreys feed their babies in the nest on a nearby pole. In the kitchen we had plenty of room for all of us (6 adults and 1 child) to sit around the table and have our meals together. The listing does say coffee maker but it is actually a Keurig so we ended up purchasing one so that we could make a pot in the mornings. Otherwise the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. There was plenty of room in the living room so we could all comfortably hang out and watch TV together. The bedrooms were a bit small but the beds were comfortable. We were there during some extremely hot (90s+ every day) and humid weather and though there were plenty of fans we were thankful we brought a portable AC unit. As stated in some other reviews, the 2nd bathroom is only accessible by going outside the house into the basement, however it is very clean and even with 6 adults we did not have a problem with coordinating showers, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back in the future - thank you Kim!

We enjoyed our time in this home. Kim was helpful with suggestions about what to do in the nearby areas. The views were spectacular. The outdoor sand area was perfect for my kids and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. We were traveling from out of town so she did provide linens. I was surprised that it is listed as a two bathroom but the second bathroom is in the detached basement which made getting ready a little tricky for four adults and two children. The kitchen was stocked with the bare minimums (no spatula, no dish soap). We were concerned about it being too warm in June without air conditioning but it was very pleasant temperature-wise. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a fabulous time here (3 adults and 2 elementary aged kids). The views are amazing, and the outdoor space is wonderful. There was enough to do (boating on the river, fishing, and playing in the sand) that we rarely left the property. We rented a 2 person kayak and a canoe for the week from a nearby place, and brought our own fishing poles, but we also appreciated using the single kayaks and paddleboard at the house. The owner was very communicative ahead of time, so we knew exactly what to expect. (She also shared some great restaurant recommendations.) As other reviews mentioned, there is no A/C, the 2nd bathroom requires going outside to get there, the king bedroom doesn't have any space for "stuff", and the loft is a 4 foot ceiling- we were happy to have those expectations ahead of time. (And because we expected these things, they didn't bother us at all.) Highly recommended.

The property itself is very pretty and we enjoyed the beach area and the view. Unfortunately we feel the photos in this listing are highly misleading and are very confused by all the 5 star reviews. This home sleeps TWO adults and several children. NOT 4 or 5 as the listing stated. Two of the 3 bedrooms are children’s rooms with child sized beds. Not comfortable for adults at all. The loft area upstairs is not fully accessible like the photos indicate. They close off half of it and the ceilings are about 4 feet tall so it is not comfortable for an adult what so ever. Overall all the bedrooms are portrayed to be much larger than they actually are. The master bedroom door wouldn’t close because the bed was so large (No privacy & fire hazard), they locked the closet so there was barely any space to put your belongings. A major issue was the fact that TWO bathrooms are listed. There is only 1 bathroom in the main house. The second bathroom is in the basement and you have to go outside, down the porch stairs and around to the basement door to access. Not only that, there was a foul odor and black mold all over the ceiling in this basement bathroom which is highly TOXIC. There were random people strolling and walking their dogs through the yard and beach often. So I’m not really sure if this is truly a “private beach.” We didn’t feel comfortable letting our kids play without being right there. The photos and listing also mentioned “kayaks” - there was only 1 kayak there. We would have brought our own if we knew. Most importantly, there is a 360 degree camera on the outside window over looking the living room. This was beyond creepy, illegal and made us all uncomfortable as they can clearly look into the house and watch you. Such violation of privacy! We contacted VRBO during our stay and they have YET to take action and respond. We have rented many houses over the years and never have we ever encountered a property so vastly misrepresented. This wasn’t a “vacation” to say the least.
