About this apartment rental
The former brewery presents itself stationary picture influential at the entrance of Köslau. Directly on Rennweg and located close to the Castle Road, just half an hour's drive from the world heritage city of Bamberg, it is now after extensive and carefully executed renovation to a very special place for recreation willing tourists or short term overnight guests become. Upstairs the house, the apartment described here "MALT" offers the best conditions for a relaxing holiday, as well as another apartment "HOP" (reference number 2385794) and a double room "BARLEY". Another Apartment "SOURCE" (reference number 2450151) with very high quality fittings "Made in Germany" and 5 star classification for DTV is on the ground floor available. "Quelle" offers a large balcony to the east and south and is equipped for the disabled. All apartments have the best comfort and privacy.
When removing from the own joinery much emphasis was placed on natural, local materials. The other parts comes largely from German production. Sustainable, ecological concepts for healthy living environment are always our top priority. To produce electricity with the Frankish sun and reflect our supply from purely ecological provider Lichtblick. A particularly pleasant living environment is created throughout the house by the heat from infrared radiators. In the summer heat it is thanks to perfect insulation, 3x glazing and blinds on the skylights anytime pleasant to live, quite naturally, even without air conditioning.
Relax and feel good in the countryside, with plenty of peace and privacy and garden with natural pond and lawn around it ... Welcome! Even in the short term and have at least one night.
Apartment MALT: eco-luxury with large balcony and view of the countryside
Here was a Holiday Apartment for generously and openly laid out live and sleep at 52 sqm, on the first floor. Given more than 22 sqm balcony overlooking birds chirping in the trees, meadows, fields and forests. Exquisitely furnished with natural wood furniture of own brand Schreiner 'Oak woman' from the bed to the kitchen, Frankish smoked oak parquet on the floors. Modern kitchen and dining area with handmade fitted solid wood furniture, cozy corner with leather sleeper sofa also 'Made in Germany', large flatscreen TV. Open bedroom with double bed 180x200 cm and bedding plus size. In addition, a modern stylish room-in-room bathroom with large shower, toilet, bidet.
A third and fourth guest sleeps just as comfortably in the 22 sqm double room with its own bathroom, right next to it.
If you value privacy, want to start the day with breakfast out in the sun, or want to dream in bad weather on the sofa with green view out into nature, then you are exactly right.

From time to actually re-brewed beer with us, we revive the lost tradition of the house in order again. The host will certainly be watching even over his shoulder while brewing, and a hearty swig genuine Franconian beer tradition you should not miss on the occasion!

A very luxurious location. Sauna, Infra red cabine, pond for cooling off, all amenities one would require. Very friendly and helpful owners next door. Ideal for walking, or resting from a hectic year.
Keep in mind that all shopping is at least 10 k away. Proprietor however, will offer breakfast buns, a welcome packet of refreshments and beer and drinks available.
We had a great time!

Der Urlaub fing schon bei der freundlichen Begrüßung an. Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht nur erfüllt, sondern übertroffen. Das Appartement war wirklich top. Eine kleine Schlemmerbox stand für uns bereit und selbst gekühlte Getränke waren schon im Kühlschrank. Hier fehlte es an nichts. Wir haben uns nicht nur wohlgefühlt und echt entspannt, sondern wirklich eine tolle Zeit in Köslau verbracht.
Die Region ist wirklich sehenswert. Hier ist für jeden was dabei, von relaxen, über radeln bis hinzum wandern. Und die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Einfach ankommen und wohlfühlen!

Wenn man in den Hof einfährt, aus dem Auto aussteigt fühlt man sich schon super wohl. Nimmt man auf den Bänken vor dem Haus Platz und hört dem Plätschern des Wassers zu, beginnt man schon mit dem Entspannen. Betritt man dann das Haus, ist man total begeistert mit welch einer Liebe dieses alte Brauhaus renoviert wurde. Das Appartement mit dem großen Balkon einfach ideal.

Wir haben im Spätsommer eine Ferienwoche im Alten Brauhaus in Köslau verbracht. Das Apartment „Malz“, das wir dort gemietet haben, ist selten schön: vom edlen (Eichen?)-Holzboden, auf dem es sich sehr angenehm läuft, über die schlichten Möbel und das luxuriöse Bad bis hin zur großen Terrasse (mit Liegestühlen, Sonnenschirm und Extrakissen für den Nacken … das hatten wir noch nie!) war alles einfach nur erfreulich. Besonders nett fanden wir, dass die (sehr freundlichen!) Vermieter diesen Sommer eigens noch ein Mückengitter am Dachfenster angebracht haben, das sich für uns bestens bewährt hat. Wir sind viel gewandert, haben die Orte in der Umgegend erkundet und uns ganz allgemein an der Ruhe gefreut: Zum einen ist das Brauhaus in Köslau eine richtig ruhige Adresse. Zum anderen sind die Hassberge offenbar ein Stückchen Deutschland, das, zumindest im Spätsommer, nicht touristisch überflutet und durchkommerzialisiert ist. Orte wie z. B. Königsberg in Bayern sind absolut sehenswert – und wir konnten sie anschauen ohne jeden Trubel und Lärm, zusammen mit nur wenigen anderen Besuchern. Und auch beim Wandern durch die schönen Eichenwälder und zu Burgruinen waren wir fast allein. Wir haben’s genossen!
