property well maintained & rooms clean & beds comfy. The blueberry muffins in kitchen upon our arrival were delicious (we ordered 2 dozen more during our stay). Gwen, the host, was phenomenal. On our first night, I will say we were unaware of the freight trains that ran 300 yards from the house 24/7. This detail wasnt disclosed in the property description. Once ear plugs were purchased, most (but not all) of us were able to sleep through the night. Proximity to downtown Hardy antique/art shopping is a short walk. Didn't use outdoor firepit due to rainy/windy weather during our stay.
