Breakfast was excellent, just enough and every day they provided an additional item that was different.
Lunch and evening meals were fantastic, home cooked and much pride taken in what they provided.
Room was large and airy with all the amenities we needed.
The weather wasn't great when we were there but the fact we had some peace and quiet meant we could just have a few days relaxing and enjoying our surroundings.
The staff could not do enough for you, if you wanted food or drink they just provided it with no fuss, They were very proud of the property and wanted to ensure that we had the best time.
It was a rustic, beautiful, off the beaten track property.

The property is a peaceful little oasis just outside of Marrakech. The staff are warm, kind and provide truly excellent service, nothing is too much. They even prepared a meal for us even though our flight was delayed and we arrived extremely late. We can’t rate our stay highly enough. Truly magical.
Having to leave, though we hope to return again.

The foliage is so lush and gorgeous and the room we stayed in was beautiful, with a French door to its own private sitting area.

Lovely garden with lots of animals and plants creates a feeling of being in an oasis. There is a nice swimming pool area and a cosy dining tent. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed.
The service and food was rather poor compared to what we experienced elsewhere in Morocco - during our 2 week stay we slept in 9 different places of very different standard, Les Asnouss was supposed to be the icing on the cake - but it wasn't.
Upon our arrival at 5 pm we ordered vervain tea and orange juice, and dinner for 8 pm. The beverages came after half an hour, the dinner came over half an hour late - there was only one other couple at the hotel, so it definitely wasn't busy. The dinner was very expensive (about 220 dirhams/person) but it was not worth half the money we paid. Three halves of eggs with mayonaise sauce for starter, almost cold seafood pastilla for the main (not everyone is a fan of seafood, we were not informed it was going to be on the menu), and fruit yoghurt with a drop of honey and cinnamon for dessert. We really can tell good food from bad and it definitely was the latter. The cook said he'd been working there only for a week, so maybe that was the case.
We ordered another vervain tea at dinner and a very weird thing happened. The waiter asked us for the key to our room 'to check teapot'. After tasting our tea, which was more like hot water, I was pretty sure the man went to our room, got the teapot and just poured water onto the same leaves. We were charged twice though...
As if it wasn't enough, in the morning, hot water in the shower finished after exactly 2 minutes. Before our departure we told the owner about our poor experience and he never tried to offer any compensation. Instead he said 'Please don't destroy me on Booking'. It made a very bad impression on us. This is not how you treat your guests.
