A fantastic find. A little way out of the centre of Bridgetown, but with great beaches at the end of the road and lots of eateries within walking distance. When we booked we didn’t realise it was a hospitality training college, but they must be good at training as all the staff we encountered were great.
There was very little to fault. Perhaps the breakfast choices could have been a little more extensive, but the trainee staff were friendly and overall there was nothing to complain about.

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. We checked in and had a welcome drink. The room was a nice size with air conditioning. The breakfast in the morning was very nice, there was a similar selection each day but they mixed it up a bit with the hot food. It really set us up for the day. There was an ice machine for the guests to use and this broke after day 2 but the staff came around the rooms with ice for us towards the end of each day which was a nice touch. The grounds of the hotel are lovely with some nice birds and even the free roaming chickens. We would sometimes hear the rooster in the morning but we enjoyed this. Some days he was close to the room and others he wasn't. The walk to Hortons beach and Blakey's bar was only 5 minutes, and a short 'reggae' bus ride to get to Carlisle bay or St Lawrence gap We did walk to both some days and stopped on the way to Carlisle bay to feed the local wild monkeys. in general, everyone we met couldn't be more helpful.
Maybe a fridge in the room for drinks would be even nicer.

Small hotel run as money-maker for the hospitality school. Staff is very attentive & we would recommend this hotel to any of our friends.

First the positives - clean hotel with nice swimming pool; spacious bedrooms.
The service was extremely poor across the board. I appreciate this is a training hotel but you would hope that even trainees would have arrived on the job with common sense and some understanding of basic
service.
Disorganised at breakfast; clueless reception and lack of attention by room service. Also what hotels these days don’t provide a hair dryer in every room!
The water in the bathroom was frequently tepid. When we queried what the switch outside our door was for, the girl at reception said with no real conviction that it should probably be on. (We assumed it was a water heating booster). It was however switched off by staff on multiple occasions, sometimes during the night, resulting in a cold shower in the morning.
There was also a day when we arrived back late afternoon and the room had been cleaned but there was no toilet paper. My wife phoned reception and the girl apologised and said it would be delivered to our room. Over an hour later my wife had to go down to reception to chase this up. It very much looked like reception had failed to action our initial request as the receptionist phoned someone (whilst my wife was standing there) to ask them to deliver toilet paper immediately.
On one occasion, the maid took the glasses we had been using from the seating area in the room and placed them upside down in the bathroom. We know this as my wife’s lipstick was still on one of them! Disgraceful room service!
And to cap it all, on the morning of departure, the water from the shower did not drain away.
