Bathroom and kitchen (103) relatively renovated. Comfortable bed. Two TVs. Kitchen had the necessary utensils and toaster (missing scissors). Found free parking out front both times over the weekend (didn’t read the review which says it’s an unsafe area). 12 mins drive to the beach. Quiet area and neighbours at night.
BE AWARE - NO WIFI, used linen and someone entered the premises twice when I was away. The first day, the tv was switched off (the switch is hard to reach so I only touched it once. It worked the rest of the time so it wasn’t on a timer etc). The second day, someone’s used hair accessories were on the dining table?? Unhygienic and violating even if best case scenario, the intruder thought they were mine. Tried chasing the wifi up twice over phone but no one came like they said. No response via booking messenger system. Same as previous reviews- linen not replaced after last guest, dirty dishes on the shelves
The rest - 1) initial check in txt message (quickly composed with bad English) didn’t contain the room code. The code in my email didn’t work. Lucky I was checking in before the service number supposedly closed at 8pm. Had to wait a few minutes in the dark before someone answered the phone. 2) Had to receive a second code before it worked 3) The air con remote was missing. When someone came to bring a new one, they assumed I didn’t need it and started walking away before I could answer 4) My room (103) is just above the ground floor and balcony wouldn’t lock.. 5) Bit of road noise in the morning. The fridge is noisy at night. The shower flooded the floor on one side.

Good location close to restaurants and the train station.
We arrived at 3.00 and the cleaners were still there plus the floors were still wet.

I liked the apartment style accommodation and always seek this sort of stay. The apartment had everything and more. Cooking facilities, washer and dryer, ironing board, outdoor balcony located in what seemed like a nice quiet suburb in Newcastle.
The original code given to me via SMS didn't not work and required a call for support to sort out. Also the guest WIFI code didn't work and I also had to lean on phone support to sort out a remedy. That said, the support I received was first class and the issues were sorted out seamlessly.

Excellent proximity to Broadmeadow station and milk in the fridge.
It was utilitarian, and had a cold feel about it. Whilst it was clean and had all the necessary things one would expect, it lacked interior care. Developer grey throughout, and the sheet had oil stains in several places. It wouldn't have cost too much to buy a new sheet and put that on the bed, rather than a sheet that hinted at previous nocturnal activity.
