Les Residences MAMOUNE

The Property was very clean in the inside. The restaurant was clean the bathroom on the first floor for guest to use before you went into. The restroom was always clean. The housekeeper kept our room clean.

The picture above does not look like the property similar but not exact. The towels were a bit rough, but it might be the way they dry them in Senegal. Outside of the property I will give it probably a three for appearance. Even if they were to put some updates for the Landscaping to make it look nicer, maybe some bark go against the greenery. The outside I will give it a three versus the inside of the facility I will give it a nine. I say it is because we traveled with two other couples to Senegal, and one couple stayed with relatives, the other couple stayed with the first couples relatives because they said based on the outside appearance of the Hotel, it was substandard, and they would not want to go inside. However, we did invite the second couple up to our room and they really thought it was very nice inside but the outside of the property was not inviting it looked like a low budget $25 US dollars hotel that prostitution takes place in the states. For example, the paint was a a bit chipped. It just wasn’t as picturesque as you would want it to be for $1,500. 00 US dollars. Before going to a hotel that’s in that vicinity, I definitely would go to a resort which is more up to our standards of living. And actually one of our nights we went up to Fatahala and stayed at a resort for 90 bucks and it was so clean so pretty it had a pool and we had access to the beach too. Recommendation: I googled a picture of a vegetarian pizza, and we went to the restaurant and they didn’t have pizza. But they were able to help us find someone in that vicinity that would deliver a vegetarian pizza. Maybe the hotel can add vegetarian or cheese pizza to their menu for people who eat pizza. As well as it’s the menu could be written in not only French or Wolof but English for American people to understand.

Ya bcp de bruit dans les chambres , j’ai l’impression que ya un groupe électrogène en marche tout le temps

Breakfast was fair. Can’t complain. Good location with access to most places. Very friendly staff who were patient with my broken French 😊
