About this house rental
Spacious modern country retreat sited privately on a hill surrounded by trees with plenty of light. This one of a kind 3 bedroom offers an open concept first floor with living/dining/tv room and kitchen. Off the living room is a suspended deck and fire pit in the backyard. Enjoy the open concept plan, modern woodstove, patio off the kitchen with grill and newly enlarged deck overlooking the canopy.
Each room in our home offers multiple views of the large surrounding trees. Built into the side of a hill the kitchen looks out onto a rock garden and the living room offers door sized windowed views onto the canopy. Set back from the road the house is completely private. The newly renovated Kitchen and Dining Room flow to the Living Room and Tv Room. Upstairs the three bedrooms all have desks. Respectively there are two queens and a twin. Individual heaters and skylights in the upstairs bathrooms make them cozy and beautifully lit.
Visit nearby hiking trails at Ward Pound Ridge, Leon Levy Reserve, Weir State Park or visit the modern Aldridge Museum a small modern museum in nearby Ridgefield, take a private hot yoga vinyasa class at the beautiful retail/cafe/spa/juicery O2 Living Sanctuary all within 20 minutes just 1.15 hours from NYC.
Bordering towns are New Canaan, CT, Pound Ridge, NY, Bedford NY, Katonah NY, North Salem, NY, Ridgefield Ct, and Wilton Ct.

Lovely home, cozy inside and plentiful seating outside, well appointed with amenities as described. Andrea was a friendly, responsive host. Much better option for a group traveling together than staying in a block of hotel rooms!

Great house and amenities for an extended family and a few friends to visit - lots of outdoor space (so crucial now during Covid). We had a dream stay! Everything looked well maintained and conveniently organized with all one would need for a late brunch and a nice dinner. Good supply of non-plastic quality dishware, cutting boards, bowl and sustainable cleaning products that are gentle on the environment and the skin. The two patios are so cute and comfortable. And it doesn't get better than having some (organic) smores by the firepit!

We had a lovely time at the house and particularly enjoyed the outdoor space - we had family over for dinner one night, used the grill, and ate on the patio. We also had everything we needed to use the fire pit and make smores. We were also happy to use the Netflix and Amazon options on the television. Finally, the beds were so comfortable!
