Great location on the river in Lovech in a traditional building. Easy parking on street. Lovely balcony. Good buffet breakfast. WIFI worked well. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.

It’s a very cozy, comfortable, clean place with genuine staff who make a decent effort to provide a relaxing environment for their guests. The breakfast was freshly made every morning and their traditional Bulgarian dinner menu is quite tasty. Location is amazing. It’s 2 min walk from the famous Covered Bridge, coffee shops and restaurants. It’s 10 min walk from the Levski monument and the Fortress of Lovech. It’s 10 min walk from the city center. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an authentic cozy place to stay in.
Some people might consider it old but that’s exactly its charm. It’s a traditional Bulgarian style property preserved in its original spirit. If you’re looking for a shiny luxury hotel this is definitely not the right one for you.

Everything was spot on, it's a lovely traditional building with a beautiful garden and is close to the river and museum. The staff were very helpful. We didn't want to leave.

The location. The cleanliness. The room.
The WiFi in our room 22 was practically non-existent. You could connect to the WiFi network without problems but the speed of the internet was extremely slow - practically not enough to load any website - and most of the time our phones would even complain that they don't have access to the internet. The personnel at the restaurant was not very helpful. For example, one of the days the breakfast was on a buffet and no-one informed us that we could order a free drink like tea, coffee, etc. at the bar (we only did because my wife had read in the comments on Booking that you could do that).
