Fantastic place and location. This was exactly what my family was looking for in a weekend trip to the lake. We are already checking our schedule for a return trip.

Everything was great. The only surprise was the water restriction. We are a family of 10 and did the best we could. Limited showers, no personal laundry, full dishwasher, and limited flushing. Otherwise it was great. Clean when arrived and we left clean as well. Easy boat rental and friendly neighborhood.

Great place for family fun. we enjoyed eating together on the back porch and the kids enjoyed swimming off the dock. The TV selection of movies was great….all round 5 stars.

The house was perfect! The main point was the screened in back porch off of the kitchen. What a wonderful place for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. The house was clean and well equipped. Having the view of the lake was nice. I would suggest this house to anyone wanting a relaxing time and gorgeous views.

We are a repeat group. Love the screened in back porch and the fire pit. Our sister kayaked around the bend and saw lots of the area. The house is clean and we have plenty of room to spread out. We like the house, decorated really cute. It is not hard to get to and pretty central to the lake and Leitchfield. Our Hostess is always wonderful to work with. Looking to forward to 2022 season!!!!

The owner was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. Unfortunately the house was not as expected:( The cleanliness was very poor and the beds were terribly uncomfortable! The refrigerator was left with unsealed items from a previous renter . I would not recommend for a family stay :(

The house was well equipped. Loved the location and the easy access to the lake. Lots of water toys to play with. However, it rained when we had the time to enjoy them. Would book the home again.

This lake house was exactley what we needed for our famy reunion! Beautifully decorated, clean and on the water. Only negative is the lack of hot water for 6 adults.

I really enjoy this rental. The boat dock is very accessible. The back porch is my favorite in the mornings & evenings. I would like a shower upstairs. Other than that it’s great

Awesome vacation rental! The property accesses the lake and a dock; although the water level was high, so there was a "fudged" dock to the actual dock that might not be safe for some, saw a man fall in--he was fine, just embarrassed. There is a slope from the house to the lake, but it's not terribly steep--really one of the best settings on the lake as far as the slope. Sleep space was fine--toilet on each floor (yay). Little indoor dining space; plenty of dining space outside and on porch--worked for us in the beautiful weather; could be iffy for larger group in cold months. Screened-in porch is awesome. We had not brought firewood--there is a fire ring; but we found no wood provided, and no ax to chop felled wood we might have used instead. Because only a couple of paths were mowed to the shore, shoreline access limited. I had hoped to fish from the north side of the point, but it looked like you'd have to walk on other owners' properties--I did not feel comfortable doing that; a bit disappointing since I also did not feel comfortable going on the dock over "fudged" ramp; so I settled for bank-fishing only in the cove. It was a bummer the state lodge-though open-is still not allowing people to swim at the beach. But we were able to swim at the rental, and the kids really liked jumping in off the dock--a sturdy ladder on the dock makes getting back out of the water easy--docks not electrified, so no safety concern. Google maps shows a gas station fairly close, but this place does not appear to be open, so plan on your last place to get gas, milk, bread, etc.at the Dollar General at Short Creek about 7 miles away or the DG at Axtel. This is one of the best-decorated vacation homes we've ever stayed in. Everywhere you look you find another touch of charm. Footprint is tight, but the layout makes the most of the space available. Having the plastic canoes provided (open kayaks) was fantastic--the kids really enjoyed those; and there was a good collection of life vests and float boards. I heard a wish there would have been kids' books. Don't recall seeing board games, maybe missed 'em. Downstairs TV is great! It's a rural property; water and septic rules some might find off-putting. We are rural folk ourselves, so no problem for us--but this is not the place for long showers or frequent soaks in a full tub. AC great. A little hard to open the door at first. Overall, loved it. Hope to return.
