Authentic old-timely motel right on Long Lake in the Adirondack’s.
Right on Long Lake, lots of character.
Some repairs to the bathroom door and wall are needed. Spider web in the ceiling, heat took several hours to warm the room up, room price seemed expensive compared to age of unit. No one in the office to guide us and verify we were following their directions.

Our stay in Long Lake was very short and enjoyable.
the porch with the lounge chairs and the view of the lake. the location of the motel. the tranquiiity of the site.
Office was closed when we arrived at 3h30 but a staff member contacted the owner and we got our room number. A choice of coffee would have been nice: there was only decaf and we drink regular coffee.

Exceptional
Motel functioned fine. Screened in porch was a good touch. I liked that there was a fridge and microwave. We did not get to partake in any of the extras like the pool table, table tennis, boats, sand toys, hammocks, etc. It rained. Also, we were driving in from a red eye flight and were just using the motel for a place to sleep before dropping the two boys off at camp the next morning.
