Located in Oak Island, this attractive house for $225 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. We welcome you to enjoy our family beach cottage. We are located just a SHORT walk (approximately 75 yards) to the beach access . Sleeps 8 , 4 Bedrooms/2 Baths: 1 King, 1 Queen, and 4 Singles, TV in den with Fire TV Stick and DVD player , 2 Bedrooms( King Bedroom and Queen Bedroom has Smart TV) ,wireless internet access. Two covered porches, deck, enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, and covered parking. South facing porch has partial views of ocean, picnic table, Adirondack rocking chairs, bar table and chairs. North side deck has partial marsh views. Step inside and you'll find an open concept living area. New couch, .loveseat and recliners for 2021 season.The dining and kitchen area you will find updated lighting and tile floor. The dining table seats six, with three additional spots at the kitchen island. The cupboards are packed with dishes, cookware, small appliances, and glasses. You will find everything you need to cook delicious meals. Alternatively, a list of restaurants and menus are provided if you decide you’d rather not cook. The bedrooms and second floor loft are all carpeted and decorated to give the home a vintage beach cottage feel. Nightly rentals available off season only. Ill start by saying as far as pictures and location go, it is very accurate. Beach was 2-3min walking and the rooms looked exactly as pictured. I wont say the stay wasnt pleasant, but we did run into a situation checking in. When we arrived we found dead roaches of varying sizes all over the hoise. I appreciate that a pest control was used before we arrived, but i dont have much confidence that the house was cleaned well before we arrived. Fortunatley we didnt see any live roaches (inside), but our experience was definitely soured by that. For the hefty cleaning fee i would expect a bit better. All in all we did the house and location.

Great stay for our vacation! House is cute, comfy and well decorated. Had everything we needed for our stay. Easy access to the beach. Enjoyed our morning and evenings on the front porch listening to the waves and watching the boats!

Very nice property. Very pleasant house. Everything that needed to work, worked. Close to the public beach access. Did not have any noisy neighbors. Overall a very enjoyable vacation. Would definitely rent again in the future.

Believer's Retreat was an exceptional property. The cleanliness was excellent. It was ocean view and a very short walk to beach access. Everyone in the group loved the accommodations and we will definitely be back next year. The host was very prompt in answering any questions we had. Thanks for a lovely time and precious memories made at Oak Island!!

Great Location, less than two minutes to beach. The view from the front porch is amazing, great place to eat breakfast! The house has games and other little things for families to do at night. Excellent communication with owner!! The house was very clean and comfortable for our family of six. Great week at the beach!!!

Great home with everything you need. So close to the beach - can see it from deck/living areas. Beach is large and clean. Property manager was very helpful and accommodating. Great area to walk and ride bikes and drive around. Had some lovely meals out and in. Home could use some updating (cracked countertop etc) but it does not affect the use or enjoyability of the home. We would absolutely go back!

The house is in a beautiful location, with views of the beach on one side and the marsh on the other. It has everything you need for a great family vacation. It was great to be able to use the beach toys and gear. The beach is beautiful, with great restaurants close by. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend!

Great house for family stay. Very well-maintained and heart-warming house. The view is nice too. The owner is very responsive. There are even two bikes available for taking a ride. My family really enjoyed the stay.

We had a terrific time and found the property to be perfect for a family beach trip. The house was well stocked and clean. We were so close to the beach and conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants. Jeaneane was very responsive and so very helpful. I would highly recommend this house!

We all loved the house. It was so nice and close to the beach! We spent a lot of time on the front porch, such a great view. The loft area was great when people wanted a quiet are at read or do virtual work. The owner was great at communicating. Since all VRBO's are different, just contact her to see what might be at the house and what things you will want to bring. There were many fun beach toys for the 4 year old.

The house was clean, spacious and just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had lots of space. One thing I would suggest would be for the windows to be able to open and for there to be screens. We enjoyed the beach breeze on the porch but it would have been nice to enjoy it insode as well.

Communication with the homeowner was excellent before, during, and after our stay. Checking was a breeze without issue, the location was perfect across the street from the beach, and is a hundred yards away from beach access. The front patio is huge and with a great view of the beach. The house is very clean and extremely well kept. I plan on coming here again without question.

We stayed for an extended family long weekend and this house was perfect! Comfortable, roomy (there were 7 of us) and perfect for family breakfasts and relaxing evenings. We never left the house except for a grocery store run and across to the ocean. Great well stocked kitchen and comfy layout. Nicely done!

Great place for our family of 8 to stay for a family reunion. We made a lot of great memories together. Only complaint would be a lack of toilet paper when we arrived. And there are 2 lock boxes for the house key which confused us for a moment. We'd definitely come back .
