About this condo rental
Located in San Juan, this attractive condo for $235 per night is a great option for your next break. Located on the second floor of a house in the quiet Santa Teresita neighborhood of Ocean Park in San Juan, a short walk to the Ocean Park beach, Barbosa Park, a supermarket and excellent restaurants. And now we have installed an excellent, quiet Electric Solar Power Back up system. If the power should go out, lights, fans and fridge will stay on! Also, to encourage a safe, longer stay, we are offering a very generous monthly discount. Extend your stay! The apartment has three bedrooms, all with a/c, ceiling fans and closets and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own private bath. The common area is very spacious with a large, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The living and dining room is an open space well suited for the entire group to gather and/or relax, and now, this area has a new mini-split A/C unit to cool things off after a hot day in the sun. The living room has a large tv with cable and wi-fi internet. Off the living room is a large deck with table, chairs and a bbq grill. This is an excellent place for relaxing in late afternoons and enjoying evening meals. If a smaller 2 bedroom / 2 bath apt will do, and you enjoy a balcony with an ocean view, check out our other property on Homeaway (prop. # 268479). Check In time is 3pm. Check out time is 10 am.

This apartment was conveniently located in a gated residential area near grocery shopping and restaurants within walking distance. It was cozy and comfortable with an outdoor patio and spacious living/dining areas. It was an ideal place for relaxing and spending leisure time. John, the host, was friendly, accommodating, and gave good information about local restaurants and events. We had a very good time.

Our family had a great experience at John’s house in Puerto Rico! John was a great host and provided us many great recommendations for things to do and visit. We were a little bummed that the park was closed for renovations, but the location was within walking distance of the local beach and many restaurants. Thanks for everything, John!

This is a great house all upstairs, with patio also up. It's nice and bright inside with the windows.
We have younger kids, but there's space if teenagers. Two dining areas counting the patio, plus living and kitchen.
Walk 5 min. to grocery store and beach. John is a great host. He can recommend restaurants and sight seeing.
He also has a notebook at the house with local recommendations. We enjoyed eating in the neighborhood.
It's a gated community with nice neighbors. In 15 minutes you can drive to Old San Juan or back to the airport.

Great stay. Had some issues upon check in regarding cleanliness, living/ding room AC, and living room TV. All were remedied within an hour and a half of check in. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

My family and I (group of 6) had a great time staying at this property. The entire house was roomy, the kitchen was very spacious and had plenty cooking ware for us to cook all desired meals during our stay. So close to the beach by just walking 5-7 minutes, supermarkets and key roads really nearby. Special thanks to the host, Mr. Lombardo for his excellent service, kindness, and prompt assistance when needed. Mr. Lombardo, we really appreciate you for everything. We definitely, would like to book this house again on our next visit to Puerto Rico.

The property was like staying with a friend. We enjoyed the balcony and the beds were comfortable. Loved the chickens that roam the neighborhood. Having both the beach and the local market within 5 minutes walking distance was great. John was very helpful when we needed help and had great suggestions for things to do.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very big, Which is perfect for a family of four. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying the breeze at the end of the day. The property is located close to the beach and also a short walk or drive to great bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

The description of the property was pretty on point with the exception of the trio of wild roosters that have made their nests across the street. What I am going to say is not to deter you from booking here, but to inform you of the experience…The roosters crow every minute like an orchestra from 1:30 am to roughly 9:30 pm. I am not being dramatic. I have video to prove it. You need to ensure you plan your day around the roosters. For example, if you plan to stay out until 10:30 pm plan on the whole family getting 3 hours of sleep. We were completely exhausted by day 3 of 8 and had to cancel plans to take day naps (We are very active people and never take naps). We got to the point where we reserved a night at a hotel to sleep because we needed time away from noise. For those who may be thinking that we are not use to animals or roosters; this is not new. We raised them and other farm animals growing up. We have come here every year since forever and grew up on the island. The crowing is an issue.

My family and I just returned home from 7 days in San Juan. Already my kids said they missed “our home” in PR. John was a gracious and welcoming host. He made us feel like family. The home felt a lot bigger than the pics. It was very clean. Our favorite was the outside patio where we had breakfast every morning. The master suite with king bed was perfect. The location was close to everything and the gated community felt safe and secure. We couldn’t have asked for a better home or host ! Thanks again John !!

Good location and spacious accommodations. Excellent for a family on a longer trip to Puerto Rico who wants to travel on a budget and have good access to beaches. Neighborhood chickens can be a bother at night but one might say it’s part of the charm.

It was a great spot, right amount of beds, etc. The issue which I don't fault the property was it seemed their cleaner didn't fully do the job. They left the floor unmopped, and didn't wash the sheets . We cleaned it up real fast and enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

The owner was very attentive to our needs throughout our stay, including supplying a generator during an island-wide power outage. We also enjoyed the roosters, chickens and cats that roam about in the gated community. The beach was only a ten minute walk from the property. The only drawback was the need to enter and exit the community every time through a monitored security station, rather than through the gate at the end of the street, which added about 5 minutes to each trip.

Home was nice
The neighborhood was decent, roosters cockadoodledoo at all hours of the day, Google maps doesn't know about the gates, but overall, I'd stay there again.
All appliances worked and the home was clean, beds were comfortable. Washer and dryer being a bonus!

Excellent location - close to SJU, Old San Juan, beaches, restaurants
Good neighborhood, quite, recently gated (which required some orientation as it caused google and apple maps to be off to get in to the neighborhood)
Apartment is well equipped as described. There is wear and tear but clean, homey and comfortable.
John - the host - received us, provided a walk through, gave us tips on things to do, nearby restaurants and grocery/convenience store, access/direction to the nearby beach.
Overall an excellent value for a very convenient location.

John was a great host. He made sure that we had everything we needed and was always communicative and available to help with any issues. Overall, the apartment was exceptionally clean and had more amenities than expected. Towels, beach gear and high-speed internet were a big plus. The location was great and would overall recommend. Isla de Verde near Ocean Park
Couldn’t have asked for more. Great location, can walk to beach easily, nice sized market nearby and plenty of restaurants within a mile or two. Great area to walk, run or hit the beach. Owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Had our own parking spot too!
